Beth, new here. Catching up on your wig review vlog videos. Such honor, to be in Jaclyn Smith home (with Jaclyn & Josie)! You are an inspiration for so many. When I was a teenager I had Jaclyn Smith Haircut (my real hair). My mom always wore wigs (born in Detroit Lakes, MN) and whenever they traveled overseas, so did my dad wear hair toppers + wigs. Wigs have come along ways from our moms/grandma wig days. Now I am in my 60's, with thinning of my fine greying hair. It's exciting with fresh eyes seeing again, vast colors + styles to choose from. I also have androgenic alopecia as well as polycystic ovary syndrome and started losing hair on the top of my head/crown at age 21….I lost my self confidence, I turned into a recluse and all I did was go to work wearing headbands and bandanas as a nurse on the oncology/hospice unit. I also got hit by a car two weeks before my high school graduation and prom and stopped counting at 50 surgeries. That derailed my dream of being a professional dancer/ Broadway performer. I didn’t have the money for a custom wig and back then and the wigs all looked like something for middle aged or elderly women. I then got diagnosed with fibromyalgia and I found a RW wig I liked. As my illness progressed, I became bedbound and gained over 200 pounds. I had a fire in my home in early 2021 and I had to move into a hotel where I am still living. I can’t work anymore because of it. In that same year, I decided to have bariatric surgery and lost over 200 pounds and I had a thyroidectomy because now I have Hashimoto’s. I was scrolling through KZbin one day and saw your videos and that sent me right over to Paula Young! We have the same face shape and the longer wigs look better on me (you can wear anything and you look good!) and bought my first wig, a Dylan and then s natalia. Because of your videos, I am able to “make them my own” and it took me a while to get used to hair on my head. I still have body dysmorphia and I am so I photogenic it’s not funny, so I am reluctant to take pictures. I was able to purchase three wigs today because PY had a special buy now pay in October because I want to buy a wig every month but when it comes to the end of the month, I’m broke (social security). I love my Pecan Delight Natalia and Dylan! Thank you so much for all you have done for me and well as everyone else! You are an angel! ❤❤❤❤❤❤. I am very grateful for you!

Nobody should have to go through all that you have been through, but look at you, you have come out stronger and better than ever, you are a fighter my dear! 👏👏👏 I, too, was so grateful to find Paula Young after spending way too much on a JR topper only to find out that toppers didn't work with what little wispy bio hair I had left. Another way that I afford my wigs is the 4-pay option at PayPal. It is NO interest and you set up your payment account with them. Then when you check out at Paula Young (or any other site) you click pay with PayPal, then it redirects you over there, then I choose 4-pay. That is much easier on my wallet than needing to come up with say $300 up front! Paypal pays the company in full and then you pay the equal installments every 2 weeks. I love using that feature! I'm always happy to help my wig sisters and I really hope you love your new hair. What a lovely video! Everything they said about you Beth, is true. You are so fun and inspirational! What I like about Paula Young wigs is that they last so long. Others may have lower prices, but they become frizzy and tangled. Paula Young wigs are beautiful and stay beautiful. They are so easy to style, and if any frizziness happens after long repeated wearing, I just roll them up in hot rollers, and they look new again!

You are the real deal! You are every day average woman in a real life setting. I’ve been following you for a few months now and I really enjoy your reviews and your creativity. I go up and down emotionally with my love for wigs. It’s been a couple years I’ve been wearing them but I get discouraged at times. They’re so expensive. The PY line is cheaper but I prefer the natural hairline and PY doesn’t have many in its line. I hope that Jaclyn and Jose will come up with a lot more styles. It looks like they are the much more better quality and better price point than other brands. I’m excited to see what you will be doing for our little community. God bless you Beth!

Thanks Beth for turning me into a “wigomaniac!” After watching your videos which i not only enjoyed but studied as if I were back in College, I took much of your advice and slowly but surely I went from being devastated because I lost a lot of hair due to Covid to a woman who wears different wigs in different styles, lengths and color and am having a great time! And, may I add, that I’m a Sr. Citizen. I’ve heard, so many times, people say that once you reach a certain age you “shouldn’t” wear long hair, and you certainly shouldn’t wear a pink wig, and on and on. Well, this Sr. Citizen wears them all and I absolutely love “my girls” which is what I call my wigs. So, thanks Beth, and keep your videos coming!❤

Love your channel! In addition to all the great general wig wearing and styling tips you offer, one of the best things for me was realizing I wasn't alone in this journey.
