It's good that your hamster is healthy. I had a girl, so beautiful, but she somehow got sick, some kind of infection got into her eyes, but she lived for a long time, the poor thing suffered, but we tried to look after her

Giving Mooncake his medication reminded me of when my hamster Pluto (who is unfortunately no longer with us) was poorly. I think it was more stressful for me than it was for him trying to administer the syringe! I had to end up calling the vets to guide me through the process because he was not having any of it 😞 he never once tried to bite me though. Just turned his head and kept pushing the syringe away. He wasn’t even tempted by the fruit that I put on it, too smart for his own good honestly. We got there in the end though and he got better at accepting the fact that I would not stop pestering him until he took his medication lol. I miss my little man. He had such a big personality for such a tiny little body
