Hi Emma. Loved this video and seeing all your gorgeous bags. You mentioned getting your Mulberry refurbished and I’d recommend The Restory. They’ve just worked on one of my Chanel bags as the strap broke and it also needed the leather repainted as it is well loved and it’s like having a new bag. I’d definitely use them again. I can’t get out just now so having this service all online was a god send 🌸

Loooove all your bags! There is definitely a theme with the top handles and straps. Imlove that style too. I am thinking about a Chanel top handle but I want it in caviar so the trendy is out, amd I want to crossbody it and I think the coco handle strap is a bit short. The business affinity I think may be it. Love yours! I agree with the pochette metis. I have it in the black empreinte leather and I wear it tons and always get compliments. Shockingly both the empreinte and the canvas was available when I got it and I chose the empreinte. So glad I did.

Thanks Emma for the video! I think you'll find that as your son grows, you'll be needing different handbags for different reasons. Like, when my kids were little I was all about the massive totes and got some lovely Goyards. Then, when they got a bit bigger, I had them put their things in their own little backpacks and I could use my small bags agin, which I never thought would happen. And those days when my son is bouncing off the walls but it's still raining a bit, the LV canvas bags without vachette are perfect. You'll see how bags you thought you'd never use again will become go-to's. :D Gorgeous collection! xoxo

Great vid, Emma. I took my very loved and battered medium, light grey Givenchy Antigona to the Handbag Clinic on the Kings Road, in London. I believe there’s also one in Leeds (probably still a trek for you). They did a wonderful job sprucing it up (inside and out). I think it cost £250 and took about 8 weeks.

Me too. A medium sized bag in lambskin is a disaster waiting to happen. I would prefer to go for a Coco Top Handle. They are not as glamorous as the Trendy but I feel I would wear it more because I wouldn’t have to worry about it all day.

You have a beautiful collection. I enjoyed this one more than any bag collection I have seen this year because we have such similar taste in bags. I feel the same way you do about the Prada Saffiano Lux. Mine is in black and has been my work bag since 2012. Mine hasn’t warped at all and I don’t know what the difference would be as I have certainly used it a lot, it’s the most practical work bag I have ever owned. Those two big zipped compartments on the sides are an absolutely brilliant idea. I have the Pochette Metis in black empriente, and now the pink as well, and you are right, the black one is so versatile. I have to force myself to put it away regularly as they are now $1000 more than I paid for it when it was first released and I am afraid of wearing it out too soon and there won’t be another one when that happens because they are out of my price range now. One of the bags left on my wish list is a beige Diorever just like yours. It’s so beautiful and also a very practical bag. It’s also very understated and would make a great summer work bag. It has all the things I consider mandatory in a work bag, all of which the Prada has too. A top handle, cross body strap, secure compartments and metal feet.

Hi Emma. I really enjoyed the video. All your bag collections are beautiful....As for me, I don’t think I’d be selling my bags. Although I don’t have as many as your collections....I won’t sell them it’s because most of the luxury bags I owned my husband personally picked them ( each time he gets promoted he would suggest and asks me if there’s any designer bag I would like ) and each purses has it’s sentimental value ( his hard work ) 🥰 Until next time my friend. Emma, I’m interested in your opinion on the Chanel travel line flaps - it’s so hard to find information on them! I’m interested in buying an all black one, because I’m a poor uni student who prefers canvas because I do not baby my bags at all. I love LV canvas because it’s indestructible (I’ve used my never full every single day for like 5 years and she’s still beautiful). Do you have any experience with the Chanel nylon? I’m after an indestructible yet somewhat affordable Chanel bag, lol. 🙈 leather bags scare me haha (I have a leather Gucci dionysus and a leather Valentino card holder and they’re just so delicate!)

I think we all have pretty much the same problem this year: we don't have much opportunity for taking our bags out 🙈! I literally haven't carried one of my luxury bags the whole year until now, so I'm grateful for my SLGs, at least these I can use on a regular basis 😊... Btw, Emma, have you tried to bring your Mulberry bag directly to Mulberry? I think they have a "sustainability program" now where you can sell them your old Mulberry bags, and they make new items out of them; but maybe if they can do that, they can also repair your bag for you 🤷🏻‍♀️😊? Just an idea 💕.
