Microneedling works very well on acne scarring as well! Look up some before/afters. I have no idea how much it costs in your country. In the Netherlands (Holland) i paid 120 euro’s per treatment.

Susan you are absolutely beautiful and I imagine this video was a brave move. You’ve earned the star you’ve got through educating people, myself included. Please never feel self conscious of what you’re putting out there. You are your own biggest critic going by this video which is respectable and Its great you did this video to back yourself and explain what you felt you needed to, but remember when you’re taking in these granular detail comments on these videos that are huge milestones for you, these people are lucky to have the service you’re providing, so forget the invisible lines on your face that the people not looking for them can’t see, and the worry that you’re addressing focus on post-baby care too much, because all that matters is skin health is a better community with you in it! Legend.

As i bought my first retinol (not so long ago), the shopkeeper wanted me to use it 3 times a week...and i was like - no. I want to use it once/twice/thrice a week before i got to every second day now. With Retinol 0.5%. She was like you will get red and so on in the beginning. Through slowly easing into it, i had absolutely no problems. Now I want to highen up my game with Retinol 1% from the Ordinary, bc my skin really likes the Retinol. It even controls my acne breakouts in ways i never though possible. How often would you suggest to use Retinol in a week?

And I love that you have a "real" face without a ton of botox or fillers. Sure they can really enhance your face (and i'm not opposed to getting them in the future in an area I would like to improve), but to look real with a few dark areas or small wrinkles is more beautiful IMO!

But when I seal my nighttime products with oils, which isn’t often, I usually prefer to wash my face clean in the morning

Susan, I need to know what you do for those really bomb mascaras that are just a pain to get off. I have a mascara that I love and my oil cleanse gets most of it off but I’m still waking up with a little bit of mascara running down my face. I do the pharmacy balm and then la Roche pose gentle cleanser but I still have just a bit left! I generally will just lightly hit my under eye with some micellar water or even *gasp* a makeup wipe. Help me 😭

Hi Susan do you still use the ziip beauty tool? what is the best the Nuface or the ziip?
@SusanYara
@SusanYara 4 жыл бұрын
Lucila Zwanck I have the ZIIP still and think it’s a really sophisticated tool. It even works on acne. I’m just so used to using the NuFace, it’s easier for me to not think about it and just do it.

Hey Susan! Love the video! I have a question about salicylic acid - I heard that it shouldn't be used on the neck area. I'm using a 2% salicylic acid gel on my face and it helps a lot with facial acne, but I get painful acne on my neck and I'm not sure how to treat that if I can't get the acid on my neck. I do continue the rest of my routine to my neck (cleansing, moisturizer, sunscreen), but it's not really improving the state of my acne. Any advice? Thanks!

so happy for you also ! love your videos and information. Don't know if you did this already Susan but would love you to do a video on skincare for women late 40 -50 ? I know you are not that age, but would love to see you have a conversation with someone older and exchange on the subject.
