I had sudden cardiac arrest on Oct 8th. I now have a defibrillator. My husband found me within seconds and started CPR. The First Responders were located only 1/2 mile away. Thanks to everyone's quick response I am here to say that God is good...

Ranz Sumando I hear you, I felt the same way and the doctors told me the same thing. I recommend that you get blood work (DNA) done to know if you are at risk. Second, if you are not already doing this, drink lots of water stay hydrated, do cardio for exercise, eat healthy, and lastly don't stress out or worry about anything. At the time that I had my heart attack, stress was really high. You are not alone, I am here for you to answer any question that you need to be answered.

I found this because I've been having chest pains, tightness in my chest and major heart palpitations. The other day I was walking and felt like I was gonna black out and started sweating profusely, and my heart was skipping beats and pounding. I thought for sure it was a heart attack. I even wrote on a piece of paper beside me that I love my family because I thought I was gonna die. It eventually did pass, but I'm still having a lot of shortness of breath.

@@brandonpickett6498 Please go to the doctor and ask can you have a stress test done. I was having heart palpitations and shortness of breath years ago and me being young, I didn't get it checked out right away, until I almost fell out at work! My doctor referred me to a cardiologist and I found out I had arrhythmias and an enlarged heart.

Ranz Sumando I completely understand you. I've been having all the symptoms of an impending heart attack lately and no one in my family believes me, the doctors think it's just anxiety. Then my loved ones and even nurses and doctors think I can control my anxiety by "just calming down". It's hell. I'm worried about being able to be here and care for my kids, my job is putting pressure on me to come back and I don't feel well enough to. The father of my kids is not supportive at all and he guilt trips me over my medically issue which I can't control. Idk how much longer I can take this.

But everytime this happens i feel like its a heart attack which sounds funny to them coz nothing ould be traced in my ecg or echo tests. Frustrating. But again God is good and He is our only hope. Thank you for this encouraging video. Im happy at least im not alone with such. God is good.

Yes typically costochondritis which can be from drinking a lot of carbonated beverages or other things that irritate that type tissue, which is not cardiac related. But only an EKG can tell us for sure. But MI's usually present more general pain and wider spread than the knife-like thing you felt. And they usually are accompanied by other symptoms, breathing trouble, dizziness, weakness, sweats, etc.

Firstly we thank God that you came out alive, heart attacks are serious. I am a 28 year old man who is moderately active and healthy. I have been having chest pains and discomfort for about 11 months. I frequently get 'heart attack like' symptoms and it scares the hell out of me. Sometimes my left arm aches severely out of nowhere which is then followed by central to left chest pain which can last a whole day. I have been to the hospital several times and have had the all clear each time but I do fear that one day my biggest fear will become a reality. Your story has given me hope and belief and I trust in God.......Thanks for sharing

I am so glad to hear my story has given you hope! I made this video just for that. I know it can be scary and the best thing to do is not worry. If I may, my advice would be to go to a heart specialist, get blood work done, and eat healthy I can't tell you how many times I went to the doctor and had the same result that everything was ok. I would of liked to have known what I know now and so I advise you. Thank you so much Ddot Mens I hope this was helpful.

I can feel it bro. I had a heart attack 5 months ago at 25. Doctors were surprised to see me laughing and talking. I had a major heart attack only because of hypertensions. In the hospital doctors told me that this was the first time they saw such a young patient like me have a heart attack in his 25. And you know i am always thankful to God that he made me such a tough guy. In my ward i was the only young patient and i was the only one laughing and talking with other patients giving them hope. I am pround only bcz of me 2 of the patients who did not want to go for engioplasty bcz they were scared. I convunced them to go for engio. I told them just go look at me nathing has happened to me and they were like yes u r rit we should go for engio. I felt like a winner. So thanks Almighty Allah( God) for giving me such strength

Amazing how heart attacks are different for different people. I had a heart attack that felt like an arrow in my upper left back. Called the ambulance myself and after tests was told I had pleurisy in my lungs. Was given antibiotics and sent home. No mention of any heart attack. Well, 4 years later had to have surgery and going through the tests before the surgery was asked when did I have my attack. I was shocked but not much. Doctors are always discounting women's complaints as, hysterical or making something from nothing. To this day I haven't been to see a heart doctor and I wonder why I didn't die.

I'm a 26 year old female. I have been getting serious heartburn for the past month every day. My arms sometimes hurt when this is happening. I had a EKG done about a month when I first noticed the symptoms. They also took an x-ray and took blood. Everything came out clear but these heartburn symptoms seem to be getting worse. They said I had a pocket of gas in my chest. Hopefully that means it was just heartburn but I have been under a ton of stress ever since these symptoms started. I am scared but am keeping my trust in God.

Stacie, I know it can be scary when you are having symptoms and no one can find an answer but don't worry sometimes it's in our head but other times we just need to keep on searching for an answer. Also, not everyone has the same symptoms when it comes to a heart attack and some time ago I had some of those heartburns but its due to what I eat. There has been a lot of change in my diet, for example, I can't eat chocolate anymore because it causes me to have heartburn and bloatedness. I left some links that have helped me out with a similar issue as yours and I hope it helps. The body is weird so many things can cause certain things to occur as in for me I think I Pretty much narrow down my cause of symptoms of the heartburn/indigestion which was narrowed down to just stress and anxiety

Went to doctor next day still in pain thus guy is an idiot he said if people break there arm they put it on a sling so put it in a sling. That doctor is the dumbest I seen my arm is not broken. Seen another doctor Friday and he thinks it's a pinched nerves took x-rays and now waiting for hospital to call me to set up EMG to checked for pinched nerves. Praying everyday . This is scary . Wow! September 13 2017 was the date of my heart attack(s). I'm twice your age, but had done 30+ miles of bike rides, 6 miles of jogging and 4.5 miles of hiking that week to get ready for an upcoming vacation. Luckily I was walking into a business when it happened and they called 911 and the EMTs that saved my life were literally like 500 yards up the road. The EMT's showed up and I flatlined when the put me on the gurney, so they started hitting me with the defibrillator. 7 different times. They also maxed out 4 different drugs trying to revive me. LOL...And that was just the ride to the hospital. They put in 3 stents and I was in a medically induced coma for 2 week, also caught pneumonia while in teh coma. Spent a couple weeks using a walker when I got out. I made a video about it ust to show people that you CAN bounce back and live a quality life after a heart attack, or even dying a couple times. :D It's always interesting to hear other people's survival stories...especially since this kills 90% of the people it hits.

Anyone here? How can you tell that you are at risk of heart attack? I am 28 and I am having chest and arm pain on my left. They don't usually go together. it's kinda like mildly aching. What level of cholesterol will it cause to block your arteries?
@WANDRSTILLER
@WANDRSTILLER 4 жыл бұрын
Gian, total cholesterol levels less than 200 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL) are considered desirable for adults. A reading between 200 and 239 mg/dL is considered borderline high and a reading of 240 mg/dL and above is considered high. One thing I've learned is that not everyone has the same cause of symptoms when it comes to a heart attack. Number one thing is don't worry. Secondly, keep track of your pains and try to take note what you were doing when it happened. Thirdly, I would recommend to see your doctor regularly. Lastly, stay healthy physically and mentally. Don't worry man, your not alone. I hope this helps.

Doctors take an oath to do no harm but they participate in a system that cost a ton of money. After medical emergencies, some people who can't pay for the medical treatment art bankrupt and severely depressed because they struggle to pay the large bill. Some people commit suicide from this. Olivia Moore, I'm glad you are alive I know it hits one hard but the beautiful thing is that we are still alive and you're not alone. One of the ways I dealt with the aftermath was by talking about it openly (which is one of the reasons I made this video). Secondly, I wanted to help others that went through what I went through and let them know that they are not alone. Thirdly, don't worry about anything especially money, because of no matter what it comes and goes. Also, it only makes things worse. Know that this is just a moment and it will pass. Lastly, I got that time to focus on myself. This was some of the ways I could cope and I hope it helps you. Olivia, you are awesome and thank you so much for commenting. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Don't be scared, the number one thing you do not want to do is worry. One thing I suggest is to read about heart attacks, eat healthy, and exercises. This doesn't prove that you won't get a heart attack, but it sure helps your body and heart. Second, I encourage you to go to your doctor and ask to get blood work done to see if you have a DNA that may carry a type of gene that gives one the chance of having a heart attack. I hope this helps, thank you so much for the comment.

Hey Jonathan, yes I had little minor chest pains that I checked with the doctor because they would occur randomly and it would hurt. However, every time I would go visit the doctor they did not give me an EKG test. They would just examen my heart beat with a stethoscope. I recommend getting a blood test to see if one is at risk of a heart attack and get a EKG test because after and before a heart attack thats what they do. Also, drink a lot of water and eat healthy to prevent any chances. I hope I answered your questions, if you have any other question please feel free to ask.
