I'm very proud of you sharing your experience with us as your fans I know exactly how you feel I had a massive heart attack at the age of 36 in 2012 I died also and was brought back several times I had to have a stent and defibrillator as well my heart functions at about 35% it will be a difficult road for you I'm sure just know that you truly have people like myself rooting for you to get better and be able to compete at the professional level again again thank you for sharing your life it means a lot to us as fans to know that we can relate to you in our daily lives I will be praying for your recovery best wishes to you mate

Wow did not know this, Take your time Darren and enjoy your Life, i had a Heart attack at 48 (im 59 now ) when i was laid in the Hospital bed i was thinking about all the things i Hadn't done , i'd been too busy trying to make my Business a success .... ive done more in the last 11 years than i did in the 20 years of running my Business.... You are looking Well pal, so fingers crossed your healing, In Pool you have Won everything worth Winning , Why not write a book to inspire some of the younger guys out there, plus alot of the older guys would love to know your story ... Being intubated sucks! I remember wanting to take a deep breath but the breathing machine wouldn’t let me. That wasn’t pleasant. It’s a common phrase that “a day intubated is a week of recovery.” It certainly must be a shock to pass out in a car and wake up intubated. I’m so glad they didn’t give up on you and you were able to thank them personally. God bless you, DA. I’ll keep you in my prayers.
