Overhaul had the biggest *_LOSS_* in that day. He and his loyal teammates lost to the heroes, he lost Eri, he lost his bullets that he worked so hard to develop and produce, he lost the whole yakuza that he wanted to protect for his Pops, he lost his arms at the same time disabling his quirk in the process, and finally the most painful for him the most is that he lost his chance to fix his Pops. Everything that he gained and valued while growing up with his Pops disappeared, as if he himself got *_"rewinded"_* back to the time when he have nothing at all.

The only possible way to beat someone like that at you're max power is just go harder. It does make sense but the way that Deku thought of pushing him into the hole was smart because he probably would've made everyone think that there was a earthquake. but then overhauls durability is monsterous so he wasn't fully knocked out since he.... woke up.. uncoinsious.. lol.

It's an awful voice for the main villain (it would be better for a secondary), it's the same tone every time and it doesn't match with the character, the japanese one is way better and does a perfect job with his tone on the feelings of Shigaraki

I’d at least have a talk with them about a few things about the content before letting them watch it. I watched Detective Conan when I was like 7 and young me could only stand watching so many murders each episode. Still don’t fully understand how a murder mystery anime supposed to be for kids. First time I went to Japan I saw a Detective Conan arcade game in the kids section of a department store. Also they do mascot shows of the show for kids.

Gosh, the pain Mirio must be feeling isn't like anything I can imagine. To lose a mentor, essentially his all might, I wouldn't know what to do. But the best thing nighteye did is look into Mirio's future and said he'll be okay, give him something to work towards 😁

He has a fake sense of safety that can be taken away faily easy. So it might not be because he killed himself so many times but becacuse he just isn't scared of getting hurt, there fore he has a sense of immunity to his body? But his durability is still amazing.

actually this is an important point. This all took place in a day. So Nighteye used his once a day Quirk on Overhaul. Meaning he could NOT use it on Mirio like he told him at the end. He was just trying to give him hope. He did not see Mirios future.

I think that the reason his vision was changed is because as things progress towards the quirk singularity. We're stating to see quirks that can effect time and space. Eri can biologically rewind people. One For All and All For One are quirks of such gravitas that they effectively have a fate all of there own that will just pervert the timeline of anything that prevents the two quirks from ultimately clashing.

I’m with Marketa here. Mirio busting in and pleading with Nighteye always gets me in the feels. Best boy has lost his quirk (his future) and his mentor in the same day. Also, I feel most reactors didn’t catch that Compress took Overhauls one arm before Shigaraki did his thing, or that Snatch died trapped in the marble with Dabi’s flames. This arc in the manga was gruesome, but once again it’s animated or edited in such a way that it’s heavily toned down for anime watchers. It’s a shame.

Yeah but Dabi literally says “He should be dead” and no one reacted to it. I also think that how overhaul reacts to losing the first arm effects the viewers. Like when he loses the first arm he doesn’t react cause he’s probably thinking “ok I’ll just repair that” and that makes the viewers feel the same. I’ve seen plenty of people who realize he’s lost his arm, but don’t react until he loses his second arm.

Joshua Hendricks nobody cares about Magne, the only impact they had on the story was was when All For One forcibly activated their Quirk to force the league through Kurogiri’s portal. Then they die the next time we see them. Anyone who complains about Magne’s death is complaining about nothing.

Like Shigaraki, Overhaul can only use his quirk on things he is touching. When he lost an arm he grabbed his shoulder before restoring it. As long as he has at lest one hand he can repair himself, but without any he might as well be quirkless. Now he can't revive his mentor like he was planing on doing once he finished he plan.

There have been multiple on-screen deaths.. We saw Dabi literally commit mass-murder and burn an entire alley of thugs alive at the end of season 3, Magne was literally splattered all over the walls in episode 2, and right after that we watch Overhaul do the same thing to his underling as he came back with Eri. And all of that is assuming that you no longer consider the Nomu to be human beings after all the mutations forced upon them, and ignore every single death shown via flashback. In literally zero ways was this the first death shown.

Mirio's reaction was understandable in the sense that nighteye was also a hero who had a quirk which was a little difficult to efficiently use in the field so he was the closest and most relatable mentor mirio had
