This comment needs more likes. I could not agree more. Patrick Seitz is such a phenomenal English VA. He always knows how to bring his A game and raise the intensity of scenes with his characters. He does a masterful job voicing Endeavor. Honestly one of the best English VA in the MHA voice cast.

Endeavor balled out. He was breathing fire. The man shot fire out of his eyes. Eat your heart out Superman. Endeavor lost an arm and was still able to control his flames to become a condensed, makeshift hurricane of flame in the shape of his arm. That’s fucking metal. He was channeling pure mad lad energy that Deku and All Might would be proud. He was a blazing inferno of living fire that was hellbent on just incinerating All For One. And he would have gotten away with it too if it weren’t for that pesky Rewind quirk. All For One, you sneaky devil. The juxtaposition between Endeavor and Bakugo recognizing their weakness was a nice touch. They even both got their right arms messed up. Nice parallel. We have Endeavor being driven by his own sense of weakness in an effort to overcome the death of his father. In his mind, Enji’s father died because he wasn’t strong enough to save that little girl and Enji curses that weakness everyday. It’s the source of all of his flaws and awes. It’s his origin. Now he understands even more about his own weakness in that he destroyed his family in his attempt to become superhuman like All Might. He realizes that he will never be as pure of heart as All Might or Deku and will never attain the power of One For All. However, he will keep cursing his weakness and never let himself off the hook for his failures. Great choice to have him stop making his flame beard. He only put that up as a constant show of strength to cover up his weakness. Now he’s done with needing to be seen as the strongest. He can just let his weakness show the man he really is. Brilliant character development. And Bakugo, to a lesser extent, thought back to the disparity between him and Deku. That misunderstanding that caused Bakugo’s inferiority complex to flare up and he took it out on Deku. He saw himself as the main character with everyone else as extras, but now he sees that everyone has their place from Monoma and Aizawa to Momo to Kaminari. This isn’t just the Bakugo show and that counters nicely with All For One’s treatment of “side characters” in reference to Tokoyami and Jiro. Bakugo was raised thinking he was special and that the world was owed to him. His journey at UA has gotten him out of that mindset and he can now appreciate the value of “side characters” instead of pushing them down. And he’s unlocked a new move with those shoulder guns: Murica! Also Tokoyami wrapping Jiro’s jacket around his arm and using that darkness for a Ragnarok level punch was insanely cool. Tokoyami is definitely one of the characters who has leveled up the most and has one of the highest ceilings. To go from next to useless in light to figuring out a way to use maximum power in a localized part of his body reminds me of Deku using 100% OFA in his fingers.

You guys are right. All for One gave his original quirks to Shigaraki. Last season they established every quirk has a the original owner's consciousness in it. That is how we see the past users of One for All inside Deku. All the past users we are the consciousness stored inside their quirks. Even All Might who didn't have a quirk was able to implant his consciousness onto OFA, which is the yellow phantom form. They eventually became strong enough to interact with Deku and help him. All for One's stolen quirks have the consciousness of the people he took them from. For the vestiges inside AFO it is basically just a prison where they are suppressed by the asshole who stole them and forced to serve him. When All for One discovered all quirks have a copy of their owners consciousness stored inside them he made his plan to give his original quirk to someone else. The copy of his consciousness inside the quirk would absorb that person's mind and suppress them so that AFO's consciousness would take control of the body. Basically he is putting a copy of his mind in someone else's body as a way to cheat death. The original would eventually die but the copy lives on in the new body. That is what he is doing to Shigaraki right now. Since AFO gave away his original quirk and all the quirks inside of it he had to take a copy of his quirk that Doctor created. Since this is a copy it is not as potent as the original. AFO's control of his victims wasn't nearly as strong before and he realized that now when they rebelled against AFO now. My guess is they tried to do so in the past but when AFO had the original his control was too strong, but this time when they tried since his control was weaker they succeeded.

The manga also explains that the vestiges inside AFO found the will to rebel in that moment because of Jiro. They were all used to being oppressed by the so-called Demon Lord and believed that only someone truly exceptional would ever be able to stand against him. The fact that Jiro was willing and able to fight him despite being neither a top hero nor a holder of OFA gave them hope that AFO could be defied by ordinary people.

Now the obvious highlight is Endeavor, but like, shoutout to Bakugo too. He became war machine x1000 here! As for Endeavor, he’s a great pro hero. That’s just like, a fact, regardless of how I feel about him. In a weird way, this fight kinda shows off his best and worst attributes, as a hero, and as a person. As a hero, he’ll be willing to sacrifice his own arm just to get the job done and go head to head with some of the strongest villains in the world. But as a person, he’s been unable to confront his past head on, and will settle for figuratively burning the past for the second time instead of actually continuing to atone like he promised he would. Ultimately, it speaks to the kind of person that he is, someone who’s brave enough to go head to head with a villain like All for One and accept his wrongdoings, but too much of a coward to ever confront his own abusive past and do the bare minimum to atone for it. He can only admit that he was wrong and continue to do what he's been doing. All for One basically said “You’re awful,” expecting that to drag him down, and Endeavor just responded with, “you’re right, I am awful," and beats him. In a super weird way, I guess Endeavor is the perfect number one hero for society as is. A flawed and corrupt face for a flawed and corrupt society.

In that actual moment, risking his life to protect all of society against the proverbial demon king who’s using Endeavor’s past to throw it back in his face. What would you have him do as an alternative to acknowledging he’s a flawed person who made big mistakes and co to hung to fight AFO.

Had Endeavor spent the last few months actively seeking Touya out or attempting to communicate with the family, then the scenario of him having to fight All for One instead of helping to confront Touya probably wouldn’t have had to happen. But instead, he chose to go after All for One throughout all of this, and had basically no success until now.

When someone is injured, they begin to put their back into the fight. A single mistake from that point onwards could mean death. AFO gouged All Might's stomach out. And that only made him more determined. All Might had nothing to lose. Endeavor with his past before him, a chunk missing from his side and one of his arms gone also had nothing to lose. AFO was reminded of the fear he felt when he saw All Might charging towards him on the face he lost his face and nearly lost his life. Endeavor stood where All Might stood and with the help of Hawks, Jiro and Tokoyami brought fear into AFO's heart. He showed why he is the new number one hero. He wants to move forward. Correct his mistake of ignoring Touya as a child by spending the rest of his life watching him now. And that's where things should've ended. That's where things could've ended. But not this time. Wounded heroes are the scariest, that's true. But villains are also scariest when wounded. And AFO seemingly still has another trick up his sleeve. Speaking of wounded people, Bakugo got pretty wounded in this episode. He thought about Deku and everything he's done as he fought Shigaraki. But it should be noted that while Bakugo did get his arm broken by Shigaraki that doesn't mean he's as powerless as he thinks. Bakugo's attack was the only attack so far that did visible damage to Shigaraki. It burned off nearly half of his face. Which is why he decided Bakugo's hands needed to go. And even more than that, Bakugo is Shigaraki's priority because despite Izuku and Bakugo's rocky relationship, he's closer to Izuku Midoriya than anyone else.

AFO put all the original quirks in tomura’s body, including his own original quirk (all for one) I suspect that since they’ve been using genetics to duplicate quirks, and the quirk eraser bullet contains eri’s dna, they somehow managed to copy her quirk using the bullet and he’s gonna rewind himself back to full health

I kinda think the use of the new intro was premature, and maybe even accidental. Every season, the new intro showed up after 12-13 episodes, but this one was after 9. And there were things in the first intro that never happened until after this new intro. Like Bakugo's head guns. Why put it in that first intro when they don't show up in the show at all until the next intro? I think it must have been an actual accident to move to a new intro here.

I gotta say for what we got in the anime for endeavors backstory if he does show why he was like this as a hero and a father because after witnessing his father‘s death and failure as a hero and the death of a young girl who he ended up failing to save, two deaths can really change a person feeling knowing that they don’t want to go through that kind of thing as they did. To me no wonder he wanted so much to aim at top hero like all might and how he was afraid of facing toya because knowing that his firework could burn his whole body badly he just couldn’t face The failure of what could’ve been a power of a hero that could succeed and surpass all might; it’s tough for him to face it physically and emotionally which is why he makes his wife Rei take care of him and the other kids so he can focus on his own way of how to surpass all might and not face his fear of failure. Does anyone think that this might be really selfish

Shigaraki has been pumped with like a hundred different quirks that help him, plus his own evolved one. It was explained how he can avoid erasure in previous episodes. Watch them again, and maybe you'll get it this time.

The dub for bakugo's monologue was worse than the sub. He just full-on admits how shitty he was but how much he grew and how he wants to prove that he learnt from his past mistakes which is why best jeanist was shocked at his character growth and exclaimed his full name. It's translated much better compared to the dub which doesn't hit that hard
