Tbh the afo that endeavour fought was the weak version of kamino afo, who is also just a weaker version of prime afo. No wonder hawks and jiro were able to damage him a little bit. You will witness true horror next ep 😭

Hearing both Anna and Ben agree Bakugo is their favorite character in MHA makes me so happy. Bakugo is my favorite character in anime, even though while I do like MHA it’s not one of my favorites. I just think that as a character, Bakugo is *at least* a tier above the rest of the cast in MHA. And after this episode, I agree with the comparison between Endeavor and Bakugo more than ever. But in the same vein as what I mentioned earlier, Bakugo’s relationship with Deku has so many more facets than Endeavor’s with All Might. Endeavor and Bakugou also have a similar relationship with power. So much of Bakugou’s self-worth relies on his abilities and where he lands within that pertaining hierarchy. Same with Endeavor. That’s why one of my favorite scenes within this series was in the finals of the sports festival. That moment of Bakugou screaming out his anguish at Todoroki encapsulated his character. Bakugou simping over.

Jirou deserves so much more credit than she gets for what she had to sacrifice. She almost died and still bravely stood her ground against a much more powerful enemy which ultimately put the first real damage on AFO and made him vulnerable for everything else to come.

I’ve been saying this all a LOT lately, but Endeavor’s a great pro hero. That’s just like, a fact, regardless of how I feel about him. In a weird way, this fight kinda shows off his best and worst attributes, as a hero, and as a person. As a hero, he’ll be willing to sacrifice his own arm just to get the job done and go head to head with some of the strongest villains in the world. But as a person, he’s been unable to confront his past head on, and will settle for figuratively burning the past for the second time instead of actually continuing to atone like he promised he would. Ultimately, it speaks to the kind of person that he is, someone who’s brave enough to go head to head with a villain like All for One and accept his wrongdoings, but too much of a coward to ever confront his own abusive past and do the bare minimum to atone for it. He can only admit that he was wrong and continue to do what he's been doing. All for One basically said “You’re awful,” expecting that to drag him down, and Endeavor just responded with, “you’re right, I am awful," and beats him. In a super weird way, I guess Endeavor is the perfect number one hero for society as is. A flawed and corrupt face for a flawed and corrupt society. But while the obvious highlight is Endeavor, but like, shoutout to Bakugo too. He became war machine x1000 here!

I would have to check the original Japanese to be sure, but I think All For One was theorizing that he had less control over the wills of the stolen Quirks' original owners because he's using a copy of his own Quirk, having given the original to Tomura.

The idea behind "curse your weakness" would be, that endeavor became the no2 with his obsession of superhuman ness. His warpness to beat allmight. And this good endeavor cant be the one to take the fight to Afo. He isnt endeavors strongest version. Besides the "not forgiving himself ever" so that he always works harder and goes beyond on his job. Also endeavor with the new ost❤

I wonder if there is supposed to be an underlying theme with all the quirks that deal specifically with hands and touching things to activate your quirks Bakugo explosive sweat being ignited on his palms AFO need to make contact to steal a quirk Ochaco to make things weightless Overhaul to reconstruct matter Rule from class B to change the size of an object Star and stripe to instill a new order on something Welder from class B able to weld 2 things he is actively touching together The mud guy from class B able to liquify the ground and such Shiggys decay of course Mr compress and turning stuff into marbles I have a pretty good memory but I’m sure I missed something and I’m probably just thinking about it too much and localizing a quirk to a single body part is a good draw back and easy removal for a gut punch.

When someone is injured, they begin to put their back into the fight. A single mistake from that point onwards could mean death. AFO gouged All Might's stomach out. And that only made him more determined. All Might had nothing to lose. Endeavor with his past before him, a chunk missing from his side and one of his arms gone also had nothing to lose. AFO was reminded of the fear he felt when he saw All Might charging towards him on the face he lost his face and nearly lost his life. Endeavor stood where All Might stood and with the help of Hawks, Jiro and Tokoyami brought fear into AFO's heart. He showed why he is the new number one hero. He wants to move forward. Correct his mistake of ignoring Touya as a child by spending the rest of his life watching him now. And that's where things should've ended. That's where things could've ended. But not this time. Wounded heroes are the scariest, that's true. But villains are also scariest when wounded. And AFO seemingly still has another trick up his sleeve. Speaking of wounded people, Bakugo got pretty wounded in this episode. He thought about Deku and everything he's done as he fought Shigaraki. But it should be noted that while Bakugo did get his arm broken by Shigaraki that doesn't mean he's as powerless as he thinks. Bakugo's attack was the only attack so far that did visible damage to Shigaraki. It burned off nearly half of his face. Which is why he decided Bakugo's hands needed to go. And even more than that, Bakugo is Shigaraki's priority because despite Izuku and Bakugo's rocky relationship, he's closer to Izuku Midoriya than anyone else.
