My Hero Academia Manga Chapter 322 covers Bakugo’s confession to Deku regarding his feelings and why he bullied him. Bakugo says sorry to Izuku Midoriya for bullying him in the past and it was actually because he was jealous of him and believed he was ahead of him at every encounter after Deku received the one for all quirk. My Hero Academia Season 5 has shown Deku and Bakugo’s relationship even more. Deku finally makes it to UA High School but the people don’t want him there due to the danger he brings and they still view him as a villain. We explain Bakugo’s development as a character in Boku No Hero Academia from being a bully to Deku’s best friend and rival to go up against Shigaraki. Bakugo says that he will support Deku to become the #1 greatest hero and surpass All Might.

It's important to note that Deku's mind on AFO and running away still hasn't changed. 322 shows him ready to leave as soon as the civilians yell at him to get out, with an almost smiling expression as if he knew that coming back was a bad idea. With next chapter focusing on Urarurka and what she's going to say to protest against the civilians, it's safe to say that doubt in Deku's mind of whatever he should continue pursuing the LoVs alone hasn't been resolved.

The scene with Uraraka holding his hand before he goes back to UA comes full circle from the start. Because at the very beginning of the story, deku trips before going into the school to take the exam. She stops him from falling and says its bad luck if u fall. This helped ease the tension and nervousness he had going inside for the first time. So this time she helps him again by grabbing his hand and stopping him from turning back due to his fear, inner turmoil and anxiety that has been slowly hammering him down through time. At the beginning he had a lot of weight on him becoming All Might’s successor. But now that is multiplied because now he “Is” the last successor. The circle is complete because Uraraka has been the person to ease his apprehension about going into UA for the first time and now for him returning to UA after a long time. Long live IzuOcha (~Shameless favorite ship plug~)

Honestly, considering how the story has been going so far, I think it is still too early for a silly love confession to take place. Either way, even if she confesses Izuku will say that he doesn't really like her in a romantic way, because Izuku was always focused on being a hero like All Might. He feels that after All Might retired, the burden now fell upon him. A confession at this point doesn't seem really realistic in my opinion. Maybe after they won the fight against AFO.

I also like how story parallels not just with AllMight but with Shigaraki. One rejecting the help when given and one denied when asked for. I also like how his story is reflected in his costume. Started out childish like to a super soldier and then to a broken creature on the verge of becoming demon. Far from the hero he originally thought he be.

Despite all this - *Deku has not been saved yet from his mentality.* He was still ready to leave on campus. He just lost since he was tired, but no one yet convinced him to stay around. Since the narrative went out of its way to show his harmful mindset, I really do hope it spends its time to address his poor mental health and how that aspect can be better resolved. It's like how Deku realized Eri still needed to be saved with the festival even after being saved from Overhaul.
