I love how every song is about Deku and his position. 1. The Day: The pressure of finally getting the singular chance of achieving his dream is represented within this. He cannot mess it up. If he stumbles, he needs to walk it off. The "singer" is All Might, pushing him forward. 2. Peace Sign: A bit of a breather, the Sports Festival is not exactly something that will matter much later on in his Hero career, but the desire to show his power and ability to the world is exemplified. 3. Sora Ni Utaeba: Things are looking up. A new way of using his power that doesn't cause him to self destruct, his first chance at true hero work, and getting to train under the mentor of All Might. This is not exactly from Iida's perspective, as Iida's vision has been clouded by revenge. 4. Odd Future: He keeps his ideals (save everyone he can) with him, even when society, friends, and even his own body tells him no. 5. Make My Story: Now, more than ever, really, he needs to rely upon the rest of his class. He demonstrates his own power, but working with others will compliment the strength of both. If any of the students didn't use their power to the best they could, the entire UA group would have been crushed. 6. Polaris: Finally getting his provisional license, he is now authorized to do hero work. Now, I won't give anything up (partially because I don't want to spoil, partially because I don't really know what exactly happens), but the "singer" in my mind is Deku, to some specific people.

Okay this is probably just me or probably everyone else (idk i havent really scrolled through the comments) but I feel like this song is Deku singing to All Might SPOILER- I think this song takes place after All Might told Deku he would die. Deku was devastated but he had to get past that fact and instead of mourning over the thought All Might was gonna die, he chose to fight faith and go against the the decided future even if it was impossible. He chose to do his best to make sure All Might would see him be a great hero incase he does die. He wants to show all might he is worthy to be his successor, he wants to show him he has the potential to live up to his expectations on being the next symbol of peace. So in this song, all I heard was Deku dedicating this song to All Might. With this in mind, these lyrics got me: “I’ve decided I will Follow my heart, promise yours will always be right near me” “All i wanted was for you to stay and not disappear “Im never backing down, im gonna prove im strong for you.” “You wont ever see me running away, cause this life, it meant more to me than everything.” “Even if i end up losing everything, i wont ever forget i had you.” “Even in the darkest nights I feel your heart, it lights my way”

Are you going to do a TV version of the opening I know its basically the same song but I actually preger those to the full versions of the song. I usually have them play the same time as anime opening starts then I can unmute it when the song stops but with this I gotta unmute the anime then pause it so I can pause the song, 1st world problems I know but still if you could release the normal 1:30 version that'd be great.

Sadly that there is not too many people here knowing Japanese~ That's the same finding I did. The team were good at choosing lyrics that reflect the story itself. Furthermore, the words were chosen very alike Japanese lyrics. For example, 精一杯 (Sei iipai) --> Say Goodbye~ The whole song has important parts with Japanese like words! Not only this song, and many other songs! Good work Team!!
