The sad, sweet thing about Natsu is that even if he can't forgive Endeavor, he still feels compassion for him. He looks sad when Fuyumi asks if their dad is going to live with them, because he knows how sad and lonely and isolated he'll be. Natsuo is truly a kind child, his lack of forgiveness is 100% rooted in kindness and love for his family and not for himself. Even if he could have valid issues with Endeavor for basically neglecting him, he's focused on his family. And even if he doesn't forgive Enji, Enji is still his family and he doesn't want him hurt. Natsuo's awesome.

really love that endeavor made a distinction between wanting forgiveness and wanting to make up for his actions, and that the writer made it clear that forgiving abuse has nothing to do with being nice. i personally think the todoroki family arc is being handled so well

In most shows or series, Endeavor would've went for the save and Natsuo would've forgiven him in 1, 2, 3. Or he would've sacrificed himself and everyone would've instantly forgave him. I'm glad Horikoshi decided to make it so that didn't happen. Endeavor isn't looking for their forgiveness, if they ever decide to do so. He's looking to atone. And even then, he's not going to force any of them to like him. That makes his character arc so much more impactful. That he's ruined a lot of people's lives and he has to TRY to fix it. It doesn't mean the family is obligated to forgive him at all. If it takes years or they never forgive him but instead forgive themselves, that's perfectly valid. Also, Bakugo has changed in his own way. Back at the beginning of the series, he would've never accepted that he needed help. Because he already believed he was the best. Him being on a team and acknowledging that there are some things you can't do alone and even helping Izuku train is very sweet. Him having slight changes in behavior while still being Bakugo feels much more natural than if he was to suddenly just become a different person.

This is why Endeavor and Bakugo are my top 2 characters. It's not because I'm ok with what they've done but their character development has been handled so carefully. It's so well done by Hori that it's hard for me to find characters as well written as Hori's in other shonen series

All Might's forced retirement effectively saved Endeavor from himself. Something clicked in that fight with All for One that allowed him to begin feeling remorse for his past actions in his pursuit of surpassing All Might.

@@DanielGonzalez-wj9by Zounds would be an exclamation. It's not the only time Shakespeare used it in a play, but "Zounds, sir, you're robbed" is a quote from Othello, and I suppose it would be kind of like saying "damn". Another one (also an exclamation) I'm quite fond of is "Struth!"

Horikoshi (the author) hasn’t confirmed Natsuo’s quirk, but we definitely know that its not fire. So he is either quirkless or has an ice quirk. It was confirmed that Fuyumi has an ice quirk though, same as her mom.
