As a South Korean, I can confirm that regionguessing SK is pretty hard without any road signs. There's a slight difference in architecture/topography between North Eastern mountainous region and Southwestern plains, but not really useful. So I tend to go to the middle in most of the SK rounds.. Some tips that I could give you is this. If you see a ocean and islands nearby, go for the Mokpo/Yeosu in Jeollanam-do. If you dont see any islands or mudflats, and you also see a village right next to the ocean, go for the Eastern coastline. And for the guess you made in this round, I would've gone Busan too. Busan is a coastal city but also has a lot of hills and mountains. Many undeveloped old towns remain there so it really looks like Busan. But of course Korea is a mountainous(small ones) country overall, and because not every regions are re-developed in Seoul and other major cities, guessing based on these information should be pretty humble in my opinion. And last of all, if you see a bunch of newly constructed apartments "only", go for the Gyeonggi-do.

And there are also area codes in Korea. Starting with Seoul(02), numbers get bigger more you go south. 031 is Gyeonggi, 032 is Incheon, 033 Gangwon, 04x Chungcheong(middle of the country), 05x Gyeongsang(Southeast), 06x Jeolla(Southwest), and 064 for Jeju islands. 010 is for mobile phones.

Pretty sure GG usually stands for "good game" rather than "good guess", and in geoguessr it's usally at the the end of the game that people give a GG to their opponent. It never crossed my mind that it meant good guess within geoguessr lol. The geoguessr devs should add in a WAG "What a Guess!".

It makes the browser viewport a little less tall. This in effect gives you a slight peek to the left and right of what you saw previously in full screen. If you want to take it to the extreme you could resize the window to make it super wide instead.
