The Brand sorta did that with NLR and PENI. They made founders and influential members but never made the entire gangs. They've always gone quality over quantity. It just doesn't make sense they would want to triple the size of their gang with members of another. Then those original brand members would lose influence in their own gang that status wise was already seen as the pinnacle.
@ConvictIncTvShow2 жыл бұрын
On point
@sabot4ge2 жыл бұрын
Yep you're exactly right. PENI actually turned out to be bad call for them..all the guys they made from PENI, I'd say half went PC and SNY. Even PENI's creators are in PC now. The thing is, the AB really wants only lifers to be members. They just need a few guys out there on the streets to get their taxes. They are pretty much trying to do what the Mexican Mafia does with the surenos, be like the Senate of the Mexican underworld. A member of a sureno gang gets elected and joins the governing body which is the Mexican Mafia. However, once you leave your original gang, you no longer have ties to your old gang. You do but the AB/Mexican Mafia is your new gang. The AB was smart enough to know that making a few members of small skinhead cliques would keep The Brand literally a brand. It makes them look special and like 1%ers, and legitimizes the clique. It's like feeding a dog rewards. But all in all, usually non-lifers and sometimes lifers flip, just like Popeye, the creator of PENI. This is why they are so hesitant to make members, especially non-lifers.
@cabooseabs68642 жыл бұрын

This is Matt’s dad. We share vids by sharing a YT account. When I was young I got fingered by a snitch who didn’t know anything about me. He Got shot later & cops said he had so many enemies they didn’t where to look. I got a yes honest lawyer who exposed a crooked cop, an embezzling sheriff and a corrupt prosecutor who hid exculpatory evidence in a capital case. I moved to another state & never went back. I’ve had a good life since then. Never snitched. But for the grace of God I could have been in your shoes. Retired now, can’t help you financially but at least can give you likes & a sun. Much respect for keeping it real and telling it like it is and was. Glad you too found a good woman. All the best to you. How was your childhood? What made you go that route? Watching my father go through what he went through, was a great deterrent for me even though I had a lousy first 9 years of life. I was saved by a policeman who knew my family named Andy the cop. That's how we kids addressed him and. Also my placement into a catholic home for girls showed me a new way to live. I swore none of my kids would go through what I went through. It was hard raising children with my mindset. I was battling anger with trying to look happy, loving my children while I was hating what I was going through in life. I had to show my children one side of me while I was going through some battles within without letting them see it. It was hell. I had a temper. I think I did well because my son said I was a master at hiding things. I think you should speak on how the men dealt with being away from their children and or families. What would you say is the number of guys in prison that did not have a proper childhood? How many are from broken homes as opposed to those who had good childhood?
