Genuinely dude you overstress yourself so much. The edit was "a bit rough" in your mind but genuinely it was a great video as they always are, take a deep breath and remember that your audience just loves to watch you create, let that art flow and don't let anxiety bully you out of your natural chaotic and beautiful talent man. Loving the orkz and can't wait to see more! Be kind to yourself

I've loved this series in part because it feels like when I'm visiting a friend's workshop or I'm showing whatever thing I'm working on to whoever's in the house at the time. At a certain point it doesn't matter what it is, it just gets my creative gears turning

You said it's not a perfect video but that's the best part about it! The roughness of the kitbashes and the roughness of the video go so well together! Your unique perspective and style is why I've been subscribed for so long. So I can't wait to see what else you make!

Love it! When I'm kitbashing, I often feel like the last ones in the batch are my favorite. I think I'm looser and more confident AND since I've used all the good pieces I have no choice but to get creative

Good advice on “just start” and “don’t be afraid to make something bad”. I used to spend hours just thinking about what I wanted to paint or kit-bash because I didn’t want to make a mistake. Now, I just get into it and let things happen

I only just got into warhammer/miniature crafting recently at the age of 27. I feel so out of my depth, I have none of the crafting skills everyone else seems to have, and I can't even imagine how to start accruing a box full of bits and bobs, but good lord you inspire me. Your energy is so infectious and your skill to turn little scrappy bits into full on units is amazing. Truly hope to make stuff as well as you one day. Hope you're having a good day, mate

Keep it up, Trent! Love to watch you work. It's absolutely a breath of fresh air to just say "fuck it" and do a little project without knowing whether it's gonna be good or bad, because at the end of the day, who cares? You still made a thing, which is 100% better than sitting, hemming and hawing about the thing while NOT making the thing. Just make the thing. Make that weird kitbash, paint that model with colors you feel iffy on (I sometimes intentionally paint one offs with random colors specifically to fight that iffy feeling, and 9/10 times they end up being glorious and I was so happy to have done it).

Totally love the forced freedom to make something you would originally think is rubbish yet becomes your favourite piece. I also guess as a creative its hard to put up something you're not sure of as its like a piece of your soul being put up for judgement and and feedback you take upon you and not the piece being judged. Love it!

I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so I just work way too hard on my projects and burn my self out. I never really thought of making something small and then leaving it small. It always spirals out of control and becomes colossal in scope.

The most relatable content in the hobby to be honest. I haven’t made a ‘making project’ video for KZbin for, what, two years now? And it’s for exactly the same reasons you listed at the start. I admire your artistic creativity and imagination, and this is one of my favourite videos from you because of the mix of humour and honesty, as well as the delight on your face with that one mini :). yknow, I haven't watched the video yet but I just like how positive the whole "outside of just warhammer" mini painting/mini-adjacent community is. Yes - loved it Trent, well done for pushing to get faster and leaving your perfectionist at the bar - the edit was plenty good enough and you can so trust that seeing you make and hearing you talk about the propcess is enough without fancy video tricks - though of course if they end up being part of wht you are enjoying making then thats fine too. Basically from this side of the screen just getting to spend more time in your studio soaking up that infectious creative joy is great. Thank you.

Another bloody fantastic video. Feels like hanging with a mate talking the hobby. Your point about not getting too caught up in thinking, and instead to get busy doing is really awesome. For months I've been turning an idea for an Animorphs/Locke & Key mashup campaign for my group, but keep worrying that actually building/running it will "ruin" it. That changes today. I've picked the game system to build it with, and am starting to write and stat up the adventure. :) Never let the desire for perfection get in the way of achieving something fun
