I donated a £400 to my late nephews post funeral get together via Go Fund Me. I had a phone call from my niece (the sister of the deceased) to say that the money I donated had been spent on a holiday. The culprit was the deceased’s own son! He basically robbed money from his own fathers wake. I live in a different part if the country from them all, hence the donation this way. I will NEVER donate to a go fund me cause again. If you can’t trust your own family member, then as far as I’m concerned, I’m done with it all.

My sister who is 11 years older than I am was having problems with her heating system. I found this out from our Mom and I felt awful, so I sent her $1,000 to help her get her heating fixed. She called me and said she appreciated the money, then she had the nerve to tell me that she used the money to join a health club and took a vacation to the beach in North Carolina with her daughter. Never again. So I understand.

Smart move, If anybody needs the money deliver it to them. That is the reason, why people are reluctant to donate any money especially overseas as well.

I agree. Listening to her self-righteous tone and saying, "I won't let my family go down" was rediculous and lazy. Get a job! Three adults in court attacking the guy to pay everybody in his family's bills is not right. Get a job and pay the bills! If your marriage is over, your on your own! Don't suck off the public that do work, save and plan. The guy may be a lousy husband, that doesn't mean he has to pay their way after a marriage ends.

Yes they have! I'm visiting in Jamaica and I've seen some really really poor families. They have 1 plus children, they do not use any form of drugs, and their homes are piece together with rusty zinc, ply wood and dirt floors on the inside. No toilet, no bathroom and some of them have no running water. The point I'm making is, who really need the Go Fundme???? Unbelievable!

I thought she was rather rude to that niece of the lady. He also doesn't have a right to open up credit card accounts in his children's names before or after their separation.

I despise how Judge Judy decided this case. She didn't listen to either the defendant or the plaintiff and had predetermined her decision from the papers filed. I'm sorry for all those who ever appeared in her court with a case! She's abrasive and horrid to everyone. She's really quite a hateful judge. And I use to like her many decades ago in my naivety.

I'm so disappointed with Judge Judy on this one. This neice was being an advocate for another woman who was likely beat down at the time and needed help. Abusers get away with their behavior by acting in the dark . . . this woman would have had to involve the police so that there were reports for Judge Judy to admit the abuse, yet most people are going to be too scared to call the police. I respect Judge Judy, but when it comes to understanding abuse and the poor, she really lacks insight.
