My Honda CBR600F - Great beginners bike or a modern classic?

No its not a CBR600RR or anything collectable, but its mine! haha!
Welcome back everyone! A bike on the channel this week, and to make it better... its mine! I love this bike, it goes well, handles great and sound amazing at 14,000RPM.

I loved the looks of this bike when I saw 14-15 years old and it still looks great I owned a 2002 car 600 FSort and now my kids have grown up I’m going to get a 2002-2007 car 600F. Have fun be careful safe riding

I brought a 600 f3 1996 with only 13k miles on it and I love it and keep up or even gap newer bikes nowadays 🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️

I had a red, black and white one, with akro pipe and jet kit....Great bike!

If you get the time, I'd recommend getting some braided lines to replace what look to be the original rubber lines. It'll improve your brake feel and its a nice preventative maintenance upgrade.

It’s had them on when I got the bike, took them off, wanted to keep it as original as possible. At some point down the line I will probably do it, but custom job to keep the original fitment👍🏻

Considering getting one. Currently looking at 1990-2000 japanese four and getting rid of my single cylinder of the same size. CBR 600 F PC25 or PC31 or Yamahas YZF 600 depending on available parts, price and condition ofc.

I've got a 1998 F-W identical to this one. Had it since 2017 and have never ridden it, so this year I'm determined to drag it out the garage and get it roadworthy.

The Choke, restricts the amount of air available for the fuel mixture making it richer to start the engine.

Great looking bike man. Been thinking about buying one of these for a first bike. How is the comfort when touring longen distances ? Is there a lot of weight on your wrists?

They are great bikes! On long distances you get a numb bum, but you get that on any bike! Wrist wise it’s not bad at all either! Good All round bike💪🏻

I’m 5ft 10, I fit fine, I think it all just depends on how you feel riding it! Sit on one and see how it first you first 👌🏻

This is a 1998 fw, it’s one of the last steel frame f3 model cbr’s 👍🏻

I’m waiting for mine to turn up however I’m a bit scared I won’t fit on as I’m only 5”4 with 27 inch inside leg .. I’m gonna be gutted if I don’t as I have always wanted one

You should fit fine, they aren’t the biggest bike in the world. I’m 5”10 and I’d say I’m a tad tall for it😂
