@jakesands25 Жыл бұрын
Thank you brother I appreciate it tons! Hard work pays off haha. I found the graphics on eBay but any graphics company can remake them or some similar. They’re just wide pegs that mount right up to the stock mounts. If you want to get rid of the bog I 1000% recommend a big bore kit, cam, rev box and the TB parts Mikuni vm26 performance carb kit. It is definitely a little pricey for everything but it makes a night and day difference.

Thanks man! Hell yeah they’re a blast with some better suspension and more power. That 99 is a great bike to build. The conversion wasn’t too hard, a few tabs needed to be welded but the tank and shrouds bolt right up🤌🏼 the seat pan needs some modification too. You can do it!🫡

How did you add the oil cooler without an oil pump? I want to do this to my 80
@jakesands25 Жыл бұрын
The “high flow” oil pumps add only about 25% more flow increase which for all the work isn’t even worth it in my opinion. If the motor goes well then I’ll throw one in, I have one sitting waiting to be thrown in. I’ve read a bunch of forum posts and some people run the oil pumps and some don’t, I don’t think it’s that necessary unless you’re running a stroked 143cc kit or something bonkers😂🤘🏼
@jakesands25 Жыл бұрын
The oil flow right now is good even with the oil cooler. Bike runs at a good temp and doesn’t hiccup at all. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it🤙🏼
