C is enough as a prerequisite. You can learn Verilog directly....C & Verilog have similar syntax so that would also work to directly learn HDL.

You need to choose the best one as per your score whether it's in your state or another state.

Delhi Govt colleges would be best based on Placements and exposure. No need to sacrifice your home town for UP state government colleges.

@sushantsrivastava4407 Rourkela SP would be better choice than Trichy PS but Trichy PE anyday better. This is because i just don't recommend PS specialisation.....but if you can read something else while managing PS then Trichy would be able to provide you more opportunities

1. Ranks nhi GATE Score ke basis pe allotment hota. Us time pe to 600+ Score pe hi Rourkela vlsi milti thi....abhi (2024) to phle round me hi 600 ke neeche se suru hue hai. 2. Nhi, Mediatek ne 12th ka as such kuch specifically nhi dekha tha but NIT me addmission hi kha hoga 60% ke neeche....

I would have gone for NIT Allahabad if they allowed electrical guys for VLSI in 2020 as both NITs carry almost a similar reputation in terms of placement so it's better to prefer a nearby home.

It is very balanced in Synopsys after getting experience. Initial phase was quite challenging. But now it's very good.

Sir currently I'm doing btech in tier 3 college from ECE branch in 1st year so my cgpa is good so should I change my branch to cse? By 2027 is there any scope of placement in ECE branch? Or should I go for Gate or PSU.? Please help me out sir

ECE have scope but ECE + Tier-3 have very very limited oncampus placements. If you are okay with branch change then do it. But anyhow your college won't able to place you above 8LPA. Hence, Required extra efforts from you only. That could be GATE preparation and doing masters or Join some CDAC type institute and prepare. Note: Institute or College have just one main role to fetch opportunities other than making you skilled.

@ramvaishnav6277 if you get 650+ GATE score and do M.Tech from top IITs / NITs in VLSI then all the opportunities coming there would be having atleast 30CTC by your time i.e. 2029.

Agr self disciplined ho and time management shi se perfectly kr skte bina kisi external motivation ke to Online le lo. As such online me koi problem nhi hoti....maine bhi online hi prepare Kiya tha final year me.

I think spot round ka pura hi alg se hota hai. But you need to check their brochure and read the spot round section to get 100% clarification. They would have mentioned it there.
