Nice one man! I just left Niksic a few days ago and was my favourite place in Montenegro. Travelling here in the Balkans this time around most people ask me "Rus?", but when I tell them "ja sam englez" I'm certain I end up becoming the butt of the jokes I can't even understand.
@CrazyRussianSergeyАй бұрын
Haha! I also liked Niksic. Quiet town and there is everything and you feel some Montenegro atmosphere at most. Since the tourist areas are overcrowded with tourists.

Montenegro looks lovely. Hopefully you enjoyed your holiday here.

YOu learn our langue step by step ,maybe in the end you will find "Yugoslavian" girlfriend and marry here. Interesthing that afrer revolution in Russia 100 000 Russian came to then kingdom off Yugoslavia ,and almost all off them kind off married here and assimilate but now its not the case ,Russians are like own group and dont mix with locals And cruises are not expensive ,i am from Serbia and been to 10 cruises for now.I go to cruise in few days from Ravenna Italy and it also stops to Kotor (then islands in Greece and Turkey) .People thing cruises are expensive but they cost like hotel with 4 stars

Yes. I remember meeting one guy in Serbia who had his great grandparent a Russian White Immigrant. Forgot his name but he also had some Russian name.

kupati is more showering. plivati is swimming
@CrazyRussianSergeyАй бұрын
In South of Russia they say kupatsya (kupati) for taking a shower which was confusing to me. But we all say kupat’sya in the sea if it’s polako swimming. Not professional or training in the swimming pool. But swimming in the sea we also say. Well, really depends hah. That’s why I said two versions hoping the girl will understand at least one. And it appears that both versions are used here as well and similar words
@BosniaYUGOАй бұрын
@@CrazyRussianSergey you right. we also can say idem kupat at sea. You right plivati is more like swimming for sport example or something.

You should have visited Titograd, at least for a day. That's where about half the population of Montenegro lives. Also, Tito has been dead for 44 years, you can't really ask anyone who doesn't remember the 1980s for an honest opinion about him or Yugoslavia, all you are going to get is secondary propaganda based bs. It's much like in the Baltic States, everyone under the age of 40 absolutely hates Russia and the Soviet Union, while older people who actually had first hand experience living in those times have a far far more nuanced and positive opinion. Capitalist propaganda is strong.

Why do you almost always buy burek or ćevapi? Try asking the vendors in markets and bakeries to recommend something else tasty that they think is worth trying for a foreign tourist. And make sure to tell them that it should be fresh and not too expensive. Also, it’s a bit of a shame to visit the Mediterranean coast and not try some seafood. Fourthemore, one popular brand in Montenegro is mountain prosciutto, as well as local cheeses - it’s a bit heavier food, but you can get a small amount, around 100-200g, just to try the taste, and it won’t cost you much. It pairs excellently with wine (fish and seafood also go well with wine). Cheers & good luck!
