nice video; I've been eyeballing some smaller washer/dryers since im crammed for space in my little town home utility room. That portable washer would work great - and wall mounting a dryer would be sweet too

Also you can find a small metal stand. Make sure you look at the dimensions for the dryer and the weight. I have the same dryer and mine gets pretty hot. It may be your breaker. You can use that board as a topper for whatever stand you get

Hey awesome review! I was wondering where are you located because you said you got the set for about $800 (I understand this was a year ago so I'm assuming in 2022) because everywhere I checked the washer alone is about $670+ and the dryer is similarly priced! I'm still getting them but man inflation is RIDICULOUS. I would love to pay under $1000 for this set! . Thanks again for the review

The vent on the dryer removes the moisture from the air not the heat . If it’s drying then it’s removing moisture from the washing - which must be vented outside if you don’t want your home to get damp.

@@TheStephanieWay I figured you probably moved to a place that already has one in the unit, but honestly I don't like the way these new portables are being made, I have a portable Kenmore and instead of having to loop the water out hose around the sink mine has two separate in/out hoses already attached to the nozzle that hooks to the faucet, and it has a bleach dispenser/fabric softener can be placed down into the agitator at the beginning of the wash, and releases into the final rinse, also it has 4 wheels so I never needed a dolly for it, I've had it for about 26 years, I have to replace because it no longer spins, and because of the age of the machine they no longer make the parts I need, so I've been looking around and these new machines although they're attractive, they don't seem to have these basic components, I've looked at several brands and unfortunately I may have to settle because that's all I see, I know this message is long, but I just wanted to vent to someone who has experience with one of these machines, and I do like the magic Chef 2.0, I not sure what I'm going to do.

So I have this washer now and it’s decent for what I need but I’ve noticed the water level differs depending on the soil level which has to be a defect i’d imagine no matter what the soil is that I choose if it’s a large load it should fill up to the top just as it does when I select heavy duty have you experience this at all?

I bought this set last august, Horrible product! I have to spin the clothes 3 times to get them wrung out, the dryer is the worst, I have had to replace the vent twice, now I have to do it again, just replaced it 2 weeks ago, you have to purchase the pieces separately, $70.00 each time, then the cooling belt has broken twice, 40.00 each time, and the warranty ran out right before these things started happening, I absolutely do not recommend this brand at all.....

Everything has its flaws and some reviews are devastating describing the machines damaged, leaking, and sold as new but clearly used. Your honest account is very helpful in helping me narrow down which way to go. Also, could you share with me the exact name of the hose splitter you mentioned in the video. All you need to do is just hook up one hose to the cold inlet and turn on both your hot and cold water or just hot or just cold whatever you want and your machine will run the entire cycle. No need for a hose splitter . I have the 3.0 and i love it. Your error messages is probably cause you pushing warm water instead of always push the cold water button no matter what temperature you put in the washer. I think that's what some of your problems are coming from. And also it's kind of a good idea to let your hose rest inside of the washer. It keeps the kids ajar to keep airflow coming in to prevent mildew and smelly washing machines.
@sheenae.9134
@sheenae.9134 2 жыл бұрын
I agree. Exactly what I do, just one hose is needed. I was going to say the same thing about leaving the lid open with all hoses hanging inside because there will be residual water left in either in them. This just prevents the headache of wiping up water all the time. Also pull the detergent compartment out to air out as well. There’s usually water remaining inside. I have the Black and Decker washer 2.0, the functions seem basically the same.
