Yeah the gameplay wasn’t that bad but the running animations made it feel like everyone was the same speed. I think if they fix that and add more animations it would be a okay game. Imo all they need is solid gameplay with a good sim engine to be a good option. Great stream

i signed a nda with maximum football so i got my hands on the game since last year they been makin big strides since its been announced, matt been saying their will be updates for the game throughout the years

This is their first big effort, It isn’t a Madden Competitor (not yet). I’m willing to invest and hope they invest back into it for the community. More football games is never a bad thing.

You definitely missed the customize option, you can change and pick materials for almost everything, stripes and cleats and all. In fact its the best customization in a sports game period.

The main beef with Madden for me is everything being pre-determined. From catching the passes to the final score. That is due to the smoothness of animations. You can either have a game that plays like football or looks like football. I can deal with animation jank as long as I have a true unscripted skill based gameplay.

Most importantly as of now for me as an early beta is that it looks good. They can fix the stuff that's wrong but if it looks like doo doo it will always look like doo doo. This game will never be an alternative for NFL or NCAA for me but if the gameplay is decent enough it would be fun to make a CFL , XFL or any other alternative league in this game.

You can change the sock color and the game has a ton of patterns. Did you only go into the customization to record a quick video? Lol, as well, somethings maybe locked in the Beta. I've been apart of the playtesting for a while.

Uh we were on stream for 2 hours and were not able to figure it out. So if I missed it I missed it, but we had plenty of people in there and we did not see the options to remove stripes from the pants and individually change sock / sleeve colors.

I've been enjoying it, it does have some bugs of course, and the run game could be improved a bit. Passing feels pretty good, just have to be patient with it. I really am excited for the team sharing, and would be hyped to see someone build out an XFL/UFL or ELF teams.

I want to try this out but I don’t have Steam. It looks to me like the defense might me easy to out smart but maybe that relates to difficulty settings or team ratings, I’m not sure but I definitely like what I’m seeing.

No lie, I would love to get this game and I'm going to get this when it's on console but the devs should change the running animation and change the nukes and moves in the running game. Even though it's not a EA game, I'm still going to get this and try it out for new videos and something different. Whenever it comes out, I'm customizing some of the teams but Lubbock Firebirds will be change for me but I am going to use them since I live in Libbock

Bottom line. We love playing football. However, football needs to be football and how many years of having an exclusive license does a company need to perfect a game that they can perfect. This means not altering the game play to help get more turnovers and having line backers jump into the clouds to get interceptions.

I’m confused? I feel every one runs the same in madden. And do you know how long it took madden to finally get running correct. Go back and look at how many times they changed it. But everybody still bought it. If that was the only problem madden had it would be considered great. Look at 2k football, it’s considered the best football game ever and the running animations or horrible. Maximum’s running animations are better than a lot of other games considered great. NCAA 14 running animation is terrible. I don’t hate madden but I don’t compare other games to it. It’s not the measuring stick. Remember madden had all the running backs running like tiki barbers and no one said a thing.

From what I saw the animation isn't preset and they used actual players for the movements. Compare this to the previous two games of maximum football. To be fair the tackles in the clip you used wasn't bad for a beta.

For some reason? We hate EA because of what they've done to franchise mode in Madden since about Madden 09. It's been awful compared to what we used to have

Madden 24 with mods is pretty good. Gets rid of XP and brings back progression from the old Madden games. Improves the gameplay in a ton of areas, making the game play way more realistically.

This game is horrible. If you play this game you CANNOT turn around and talk shit about madden. Maybe it’s the beta but the physics are horrible, the passing horrible, runner movement horrible, pass trajectories horrible, couldn’t flip plays, AI is terrible. It’s not a good game even for free of its anywhere close to what the beta was. I played three full quarters - I was bored by the end of it. It’s not a good football game
