You said :"why would god reveal the torah and the gospel and not preserve them". It's because they were not meant to be preserved , they were for the people of that time , Jesus peace be upon him says in many places in the bible that he didn't come for everyone , but only for the lost house of the children of Israel. Moses as well the same thing. The only messenger that says repeatedly that he came for everyone (a mercy for the worls) is Mohammed peace be upon him, he has to , he is the seal of the prophets , he is the last of the messengers , so his revelation has to be protected , and that is what allah says in the Quran . "It is we who send the revelation , and it is we who will protect it".

I agree that it may be seen as an insult, however the verse of the Quran is true and applicable until someone accepts the Deen. 10:16 In plenty of contexts, “confirmation” of a set of elements means validation for some elements as well as invalidation for others, so with that understanding I never saw any discrepancy in the use of the word. In 3:50, Jesus says, "And I will confirm the Torah revealed before me and legalize some of what had been forbidden to you. I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so be mindful of Allah and obey me." So confirmation in the sense that it distinguishes between correct and incorrect in the Torah makes sense.

Regarding embryology in the Qur'an: Word-for-word translation of 23: 13-14: Then • We placed him • a sperm drop • in • lodging • secure Then • We created • the sperm drop • a clinging thing Then We created • the clinging thing • an corpuscular lump Then We created • the corpuscular lump • bones Then We clothed • the bones • flesh Then • We produce it • a creation • another Phrase by phrase explanation: - One is placed as a semen drop into "a secure lodging," the fallopian tubes, - Then the semen-drop becomes "a clinging thing," a zygote attached to the uterine wall, - Then the clinging thing becomes a "corpuscular lump," a partially differentiated embryo, - Then bones are created for/in the corpuscular lump -- and several popular interpretations of this part fail to capture the articulation of the arabic with justice - After that, "the bones are clothed with flesh," which one under an ungenerous and/or confused reading may suggest that the Qur'an is describing a suddenly skeletal fetus that had only then begun to grow flesh, forgetting much of the preceding description… while a generous reader will be able to consider that the fetus is being further clothed, with further muscle, fat and tissue; in other words the small embryo is "becoming fleshed out" and developing in size and weight. - Then finally, "it is produced as another creation," and is born into corporeal existence outside the womb. Any issue so far? I’ll explain 86:7 as well since it involves human conception, and many criticisms stem from a poor interpretation of this ayah. Feel free to skip towards the end of this comment. 86:7 He was created from an ejected water, Issuing forth from [between] the loins and the [tara’ib]. Tara’ib has no direct English equivalent. It’s commonly translated as “ribs,” or "breast-bones" but I don’t accept these translations on the simple basis that neither interpretation would be accurate, while the Qur'an is guaranteed to be. A footnote excerpt from Sam Gerran's translation regarding 86:7: Arabic: tarā’ib. Of note is the fact that tarā’ib shares a root with turāb (dust) from which man is made (3:59). Muhammad Asad’s comment for interest: The plural noun tara’ib, rendered by me as “pelvic arch”, has also the meaning of “ribs” or “arch of bones”; according to most of the authorities who have specialized in the etymology of rare Quranic expressions this term relates specifically to female anatomy (Taj al-’Arus). So some considered interpretations are: "arch of bones," "pelvic arch," "female anatomy," “female frame” Now regarding the use of the phrase "between," it’s not describing a physical location and should not be understood that way. Here’s another use of the phrase: 16:66 We give you to drink from what (is) in their bellies, from [between] bowel content and blood “Between” means “a process involving both.” 16:66 We give you to drink from what (is) in their bellies, from [a process involving both] bowel content and blood This would be accurate as nutrients from food are absorbed in the bowels where the nutrients then enters the blood, and from the blood the nutrients are supplied to the breast tissue where lactation occurs and milk is produced. Lastly I infer that the gushing or ejected water can refer to any one or all of three movements in which muscular contraction and movement of fluid is involved. Ejaculation of semen, peristaltic migration of the zygote to the uterus, and the release of amniotic fluid upon birth in which the child had developed. So considering these points I offer another translation. Common translation of 86:7: He was created from an ejected water, Issuing forth from between the loins and the breast-bones. My suggested translation of 86:7 He was created from a [thrice] ejected water, And he/it issues forth from [a process that involves] both the male frame/loins and the female frame/pelvic arch. So hopefully I've managed to address some the issues you could be having regarding the embryology of the Qur'an, and hopefully you can see my train of thought as a believer. Salam 3:7 But those firm in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord."

@@Shanksz Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim Peace be upon you. Some may be familiar with some of this already, but God willing there may be some new information here worth pondering. Without going overboard so as to make premature or overreaching conclusions, or to become distracted from the essence of the Qur’an, and may God guide us, I have eventually come to the overwhelming conclusion after much skepticism that there is indeed a large amount of numerical metadata beautifully enstructured within the Final Revelation of God. I have explored a small portion of that here and the science relating to it that surrounds the metal, iron. ~The incredible reference to Iron in the Qur'an~ Number of Surahs: *114* *1/2* x 114 = *57* In the *middle* of the Qur'an is the *57th* Surah: Al-Hadid, *Iron* Abjad value of الحديد (ALHDYD): 1 + 30 + 8 + 4 + 10 + 4 = *57* Abjad value of حديد without definite article (HDYD): 8 + 4 + 10 + 4 = *26* Atomic (proton) number of iron: *26* (Greek and Hebrew writing systems amongst others also assign values to letters, but the 28 letter Arabic alphabet is the only one I’m aware of that fully accounts for numbers from 1 to 10 to 100 and to 1000 in a seamless and complete manner.) Number of mentions of iron in the Qur'an: *5* Number of naturally occurring isotopes of iron: *5* Natural isotopes of iron by mass number: Iron-54, 28 neutrons Iron-56, 30 neutrons Iron-57, 31 neutrons Iron-58, 32 neutrons Iron-60, 34 neutrons Only the *middle* 3 (56, *57,* 58) are totally stable/non-radioactive and do not decay, while Iron-54 and 60 both do, although at different timescales: 54 would long outlive mankind before decaying measurably (the *end* of time), while 60 decayed to immeasurable traces long before man's conception (the *beginning* of time). Nuclear spin states of the natural iron isotopes: Iron-54: 0 Iron-56: 0 Iron-*57: 1/2* Iron-58: 0 Iron-60: 0 Isotopes with odd mass numbers have possible half-integer spins ranging from *1/2,* 3/2, 5/2, 7/2, to 9/2. Nuclear spin states including the synthetic radioactive isotopes Iron-55 and 59: Iron-54: 0 Iron-55: 3/2 Iron-56: 0 Iron-*57: 1/2* Iron-58: 0 Iron-59: 3/2 Iron-60: 0 Symmetry upon symmetry. The isotopes from Iron-54 to 60 exhibit a chiastic order, highlighting Iron-57 as a central point of reflection in the same way that Surah Al-Baqara has a chiastic structure, as well as Ayatul Kursi (2:255) and Ayatul Noor (24:35) amongst many other examples in the Qur’an. Now the *melting* and *boiling point* are also encoded beside each other in the Qur’an in sequence, down to the *exact degree* in an incredible manner clearly beyond human ability: First mention of iron in the Qur'an: 17:50 Say, “Be you stones or iron, (17:51 Or a creation of what is great within your chests.") Fourth mention of iron: 34:10 And We certainly gave David from Us bounty. "O mountains, repeat our praises with him, and the birds." And We softened for him iron, (To note, the surah numbers repeat the recurring motif of halves/midpoints/balance: 17 / 34 = *1/2* And to treat the ayah numbers consistently, 50 / 10 = *5* ) Number of ayat from 17:50 to 34:10 discounting basmalat (anyone can verify, takes a Google search plus a few minutes if so inclined): *1,538* Melting point of iron: *1,538°C* Number of letters in “softened for him iron” and the remainder of the surah (counted with the Uthmanic Rasm): *2,862* Boiling point of iron: *2,862°C* “Coincidence, pareidolia, confirmation bias, sharpshooter fallacy,” perhaps one in doubt or denial would claim any number of these. 45:3 Indeed, in the heavens and the earth are signs for the believers. Iron is what remains when a star dies out, and has the most stable nuclei amongst the elements, the lowest mass per nucleon. Fusion reactions like those in the sun and stars cause smaller elements (hydrogen, helium) to shed energy while *increasing* in atomic number until iron is reached, and fission reactions like those in nuclear reactors cause larger elements (uranium, plutonium) to shed energy while *decreasing* in atomic number, again, until iron is reached. Iron colors our blood, allowing for oxygen transport, and is the most abundant transition metal in the human body. It's the most important metal involved in industrial development and military competition (steel). The earth's inner core is made of iron. And there is certainly plenty more that is uniquely significant about iron that escapes my short summation. here. The last mention of iron occurs as the *13th* word of the *26th* part of the *57th* surah including the basmala, and visually falls in the center of the ayah if written on one line. I take it, and God knows best, that the ayah highlights iron as a sign of God for the contemplative, and declares the *central* purpose of the Qur'an that this sizeable matrix of signs points to (and this is just what I may know; it is likely not comprehensive). Number of ayat from the beginning of the Qur'an to 57:25: *5,100* Depth of Earth's inner iron core: *5,100km* 57:25 And We sent Our messengers with the *clear signs,* and sent down with them the *Scripture* and the *balance,* that mankind may *establish justice* - and We sent down *iron* wherein is mighty power and benefits for mankind - and that God might know him who helps Him and His messengers unseen; God is Strong, Almighty. 2:143 And thus have We made you a *middle* community, that you may be witnesses over humanity and that the Messenger may be a witness over you. 51:20 And in the earth are signs for those who are certain, Subhana Rabbi Al-Adhim Walhamdulillahi Rabbi Al-Al’amin

Hello Dax, I hope you’re doing well. I appreciate your honesty and it certainly was a great series, and hopefully this comment won’t be restating points that were already brought up in previous videos. It’s tough to defend falsehood after a while, probably a good reason why a lot of these other religions don’t have that many advocates. When the foundation is solid, people can poke at it all day and night, and for the rest of their lives, and not a single dent will occur, while the supporters of truth should always be ready to grow. If you read the OT objectively, we can see that the overall message is the same. So that’s what the Quran is coming to confirm. Believe in the Creator and follow His commands. This is the basic theme. Jesus came and confirmed that theme explicitly in a lot of places, so I personally find it puzzling that you could sincerely make the claim that the two messages aren’t the same. Yes, I can agree that the overall narrative pushed by Paul, plus the implicit verse from the individual Christians, is considered completely different than the Quran. No doubt about that. But if we were to make a chart and we had to list these two themes side by side and go verse by verse from Genesis to Revelation, which side would be filled more? In other words, the Bible’s theme in terms of content would be closer to the Quran. But with Christian lenses, it’s not easy to see it, due to the typology. And a common mistake by Christians is thinking that the word Gospel mentioned in the Quran is plural and not singular. I’m sure I probably said this in previous videos. The biography of Jesus by anonymous authors isn’t equivalent to the Injeel. Concerning the preservation comment, if they were preserved and were for humanity, then there wouldn’t be a need for a new message. And would it make sense to preserve something if the intent was to send an update? It wouldn’t, and that’s what I believe you’re misunderstanding. It came to confirm the explicit statements throughout the book and both are from the same promise made to Abraham. One covenant was given to one son and the same and updated covenant was given to the other son. It's that simple. The first covenant got all the goods, while they constantly messed up, while the updated covenant learned the lesson from their brother's mistakes. Concerning Muhammad being in the Bible, the previous comments can be found in other videos, however, I’d like to say this about the NT. If 1 John is the same author as the Gospel of John and they used the word spirit in a certain way, it would make sense that they would use this word in the same sense in other verses, especially if the content supports it. What I’m saying is that in one part John refers to the spirits as prophets and tells people to test them, yet in the Gospel of John the Christian lenses tell us this specific word ‘spirit’ is not a prophet, but an actual spirit (ie the holy spirit). If you think about it, who's more prone to read the bible in a subjective manner? The one that reads between the lines or the one that reads the text as it is (ie taking explicit statements over contradictory interpretations of implicit statements.)? For the point on the fallacy of authority, it is a loaded point, but all I'd like to say is that yes, you are right, it should be looking into the actual argument and not appealing to what the authority says. But then again, we should also thoroughly look into the argument by jumping in the deep end and not just splashing our feet. And I think the methodology you have is that you’ve come across a lot of Muslim comments while making this series and the vast variety of information you’ve received from us can sometimes be confusing. This is why it's best to have a single or a few teachers that are knowledgeable on both religions and are willing to jump into the deep end with you. Right now it is like you have multiple theology teachers, teaching you Islam, which is clear that we will usually take different approaches based on the individual's understanding. Either way, I look forward to the next series. Thank you for opening up the dialog. Have a great day.

In Isaiah 42 the prophet Muhammad pbuh is mentioned by name in Hebrew. In hebrew the name Muhammad is “אתמך”. If you noticed that in all passages of Isaiah, God address His chosen servants by their names…I will qoute some example verses: "my servant Isaiah" (Isaiah 20:3); "my servant Eliakim" (Isaiah 22:20); "my servant David!" (Isaiah 37:35); "my servant Jacob" (Isaiah 41:8) etc. The Masoretic text of Isaiah 42:1 goes like this: הן עבדי אתמך בו בחירי רצתה נפשי נתתי רוחי עליו משפט לגויbdיוציא It reads “1 Behold My servant, (Ahmed אתמך ) whom I uphold; Mine elect, in whom My soul delighteth; I have put My spirit upon him, he shall make the right to go forth to the nations.” They translated the name of Muhammad pbuh to “whom i uphold”.

Muhammad pbuh is in John 16:13, he is the Spirit of Truth that will come and not speak of his own initiative. How do I know it’s talking about a Prophet to come and not the Holy Spirit as the Christians claim? 1 John 4 confirms the spirit of truth is a prophet to come, it’s so clear to people who have not been blinded by the church’s biases against Islam.

Muhammad (saw) is mentioned in the song of Solomon's chapter 5 verse 16. In the original Greek language The literal name "Muhammed" is there (in greek). But when you guys translated it into a different language for eg English. You put he is all together lovely (literally just translating the meaning of the name) for example my name is taufeeq which means gift from god. So it's like saying his mouth is sweet he is a "gift from god"(aka taufeeq) It is not the eyes that are blind but the hearts You can deny all you want Put aside your ego just because you grew up Christian and you believed it to be true And you want it to be true You dont want to be wrong No one does Again It is not the eyes that are blind but the heart Jzkl

In the Quran, there are verses that address the issue of the corruption or alteration of previous scriptures. Here are a few verses that discuss this topic: Surah Al-Baqarah (2:75): "Do you covet [the hope, O believers], that they would believe for you while a party of them used to hear the words of Allah and then distort the Torah after they had understood it while they were knowing?" This verse suggests that some people had distorted the Torah (the religious scripture of Judaism) after having understood its true message. Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:13): "So for their breaking of the covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard. They distort words from their [proper] usages and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded. And you will still observe deceit among them, except a few of them. But pardon them and overlook [their misdeeds]. Indeed, Allah loves the doers of good." In this verse, the Quran mentions that a group of people had distorted words from their proper usage, possibly referring to the distortion of the scriptures. Surah Al-Tawbah (9:30): "The Jews say, 'Ezra is the son of Allah'; and the Christians say, 'The Messiah is the son of Allah.' That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?" This verse criticizes certain beliefs held by Jews and Christians and may imply that they have deviated from the original teachings. It's important to note that these verses do not specifically mention the Bible itself, as the Quran refers to previous scriptures generally. Muslims believe that the Quran was sent as a final revelation to correct and supersede any previous distortions that may have occurred in earlier scriptures.

You said that you don't see the quran saying that it was corrupt.. only Muslim say that I don't know if you were paying attention when you read the quran or you just skimmed through it or didn't read all of it .. but here some of the versus that talks about corruption of the Scripture of the people of the book Allah said in surat Annisa' aya 46 "Among the Jews are those who distort words from their [proper] usages .." Surat albaqarah aya 74 "Do you hope that they will believe in you, when some of them used to hear the Word of Allah, and then deliberately distort it, even after understanding it?" Surat albaqara aya 79 "So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn" Surat al imran aya 75, 78, 79, 187 "And among the People of the Scripture is he who, if you entrust him with a great amount [of wealth], he will return it to you. And among them is he who, if you entrust him with a [single] coin, he will not return it to you unless you are constantly standing over him [demanding it]. That is because they say, "There is no blame upon us concerning the unlearned." And they speak untruth about Allāh while they know [it]. "And indeed, there is among them a party who alter the Scripture with their tongues so you may think it is from the Scripture, but it is not from the Scripture. And they say, "This is from Allāh," but it is not from Allāh. And they speak untruth about Allāh while they know. " " It is not for a human [prophet] that Allāh should give him the Scripture and authority and prophethood and then he would say to the people, "Be servants to me rather than Allāh," but [instead, he would say],.." "And [mention, O Muḥammad], when Allāh took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture, [saying], "You must make it clear [i.e., explain it] to the people and not conceal it." But they threw it away behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price. And wretched is that which they purchased."

Allah loves those who deal justly. Allah only forbids you from those people that fought you because of your faith, drove you out of your homes and helped in your expulsion, that you take them as intimate associates. And whosoever takes them as intimate associates, then it is they who are the wrongdoers.” [Quran, 60:8-9] brotherhood in Islam is base on faith not lineage. "The believers are but one brotherhood, so make peace between your brothers. And be mindful of Allah so you may be shown mercy." [Quran 49:10] and lastly taking Christian for brotherhood absolutely forbidden in Islam “Oh you who be believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians as protecting allies [lit. awliya - plural of wali, mistranslated often here as “friends” ]! Each of them are protecting allies within their own. Islam is the TRUTH because the message of it has always existed since the creation of the universe. Islam is the ONLY faith which is NOT named after a Person, a Place, or People. It’s a VERB, a way of life. All the previous Prophets in the Torah and Bible were Muslims… - The word for God in Hebrew is Eloah. This was the language of Prophet Musa (Moses) - The word for God in Aramaic is Alah. This was the language of Prophet Isa (Jesus) - The word for God in Arabic is Allah. This was the language of Prophet Muhammad. Peace and Blessings be Upon Them All. They all worshipped and prayed to the same Creator in the same way also… Moses and Aaron Numbers 20:6 6 "...they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them." Jesus Matthews 26:39 39 "Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed" Muhammad Holy Quran 31:22 22 “And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters.” Holy Quran 22:77 77 “O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good - that you may succeed.” Holy Quran 2:43 43 “And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].” I will greet you the same way as Moses and Jesus in the Bible greeted people by saying Assalaamu Alaykum (Peace Be With You) in Islam… Moses in Hebrew - Sholem Aleichem (Peace Be With You). Jesus In Aramaic… John 20:21 21 "Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” Luke 24:36 36 "While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you." Muhammad in Arabic - Assalaamu Alaykum (Peace Be With You). It has always been One God, One Message, and One Humanity. May Allah GUIDE those who are sincere and honest before it’s too late for them.

A common accusation leveled by Muslims against Christians is the belief that the Holy Bible in our possession today, has been corrupted and no longer represents the original teachings of God's messengers. Hence, Muslims believe that God sent down the Quran as a criterion to judge and correct the Bible, exposing the corruption made to it. Accordingly, anything contained within the Holy Bible that is confirmed by the Quran can be trusted and is acceptable to Muslims. At the same time, the passages of the Bible that disagree with the Quran are rejected as interpolations added on later by the community of believers expressing their personal beliefs and experiences. Doctrines such as Original Sin, the Trinity, the divinity of Jesus, His vicarious death and atonement, are ideas foreign to the original, pristine teaching of Jesus and His first followers, whom the Quran agrees, were Muslims submitted to the exclusive worship of the One True God. Since the Bible teaches the above-mentioned doctrines, it could not have possibly been preserved from deliberate textual corruption, since it would have agreed with the Quran in every detail. Allah says: (3:3) He has revealed this Book to you, setting forth the truth and confirming the earlier Books, and earlier He revealed the Torah and Gospel (3:4) for the guidance of mankind;2 and He has also revealed the Criterion (to distinguish truth from falsehood). A severe chastisement lies in store for those who deny the signs of Allah. Allah is All-Mighty; He is the Lord of Retribution.

Hey Dax, sad to see this series go but looking forward to future series! I have to say that your objections/confusion about the Quran confirming the previous scriptures is all over the place. Firstly, if you look at the verses regarding the Torah and Gospel (singular Gospel, not plural (explained later)) they all clearly say something along the lines of “which we have sent to you”. Not “what you yourselves wrote”. The Gospels for example were all written by followers of Jesus (PBUH), no Christian believes they were given by God, but Muslims do believe that there was an original Gospel given to Jesus which was sent by God, and that’s the text which the Quran confirms: The original Gospel. The Quran confirms the original Gospel given to Jesus (which Christians don’t even believe exists), not the 4 gospels written by humans with no divine source. Another verse that clarifies this is, “He has sent down upon you, [O Muḥammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel” (Quran: 3:3). Notice how it says one Gospel and not multiple? This is in reference to the original Gospel given to Jesus and not the sloppily written, potentially very corrupted, biased gospels written later on by his followers which are what the Christians have. The part about “confirming that which you have with you” just means that the Quran confirms some aspects of the previous scriptures which have not been corrupted like the punishment of stoning, Judgement Day, the existence of God, countless prophets, etc. It’s really not that complicated to understand. If you do think this is a blunder, my question would be why do you think that God make such an obvious blunder like this? Surely because it’s not a blunder and from context we can logically understand it without going into tenuous rabbit holes trying to disprove it. Also FYI the Quran absolutely DOES say that the Bible is corrupt in so many instances that can’t be ignored. A quick Google search will give you countless results.

This is one reason muslim women wear hijab. Muslim ppl believe it is protection for society/woman. As they cover their beauty it makes it more important for them to develop their personality, morals and intellect, to be defined by. This makes them pleasant to talk to and hold real conversations around shared values, beliefs and long-term life goals that are also deep and transcend in nature. It prevents ppl getting arrogant and getting a superiority complex based on superficial trates. Keeps ppl down to earth, modesty. Trys to prevent self entitlement and Princess complex. It trys to prevent the commercialisation/weaponising of "beauty", by it not being a publicly displayed and traded commodity/currency. Trys to give women a break from having to compete with each other on just beauty, in open public. That can cause feelings of jealousy. Helps to try to prevent an army of simps and street pestering. As her beauty is for HER and the special people SHE chooses in her life. Helps to try to prevent insecurities trying to maintain unrealistic and unsustainable beauty standards, that are forever changing and expensive to uphold. This can cause mental issues in people and the sense of constant judgement and body shaming from people that don't know you or care about your long-term good. Peace

16:11 “Appeal to authority” is completely FALSE and DISINGENUOUS for you to paint all Muslims do when even the Holy Quran which you supposedly read literally commands Muslims to be FREE Thinkers and logic and reason will will bring people to Islam. Here’s the proof… 1) Holy Quran 10:99 99 "And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed - all of them ENTIRELY. Then, [O Muhammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers?" 2) Holy Quran 2:256 256 "There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing." 3) Holy Quran 3:20 20 "Allah says: “So if they dispute with you, say ‘I have submitted my whole self to Allah, and so have those who follow me.’ And say to the People of the Scripture and to the unlearned: ‘Do you also submit yourselves?’ If they do, then they are on right guidance. But if they turn away, your duty is only to CONVEY the Message. And in Allah’s sight are all of His servants.” 4) Holy Quran 5:99 99 "The Messenger's duty is but to proclaim the Message. But Allah knoweth all that you reveal and you conceal." 5) Holy Quran 42:48 48 "But if they turn away - then We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], over them as a guardian; you are only to CONVEY the Message. And indeed, when We let man taste mercy from us, he rejoices in it; but if evil afflicts him for what his hands have put forth, then indeed, man is ungrateful." Holy Quran 13:40 40 “Whether We show you ˹O Prophet˺ some of what We threaten them with, or cause you to die ˹before that˺, your duty is only to deliver ˹the message˺. Judgment is for Us.” 6) Holy Quran 33:72 72 “Indeed, We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they ˹all˺ declined to bear it, being fearful of it. But humanity assumed it, ˹for˺ they are truly wrongful ˹to themselves˺ and ignorant ˹of the consequences.” It’s ironic and disappointing that you’re logical fallacy when you yourself is clearly guilty of it here. Salam, Three things which you do no like today or have not understood it does not mean they are not valid or illogical. If someone does not understand some topics of any subject does not mean that the subject is partially true. Things you don't appreciate today might becoming stepping stone later. Finally, little knowledge is dangerous..... It is a special blessing on us muslims by our creator Allah that we are passionate about Him the Almighty. Nothing is dear to us except Allah!!!! Some Ayats(verses) below from the Surah(chapter) 59, I simply love it!!! 23. He is Allah, besides whom there is no god, the Sovereign, the Supreme-In-Holiness the Safe (from all defects), the Giver-Of-Peace, the Guardian, the All-Mighty, the All-Repairer, the Sublime. Pure is Allah from what they associate with Him. 24. He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor, the Shaper. His are the Most Beautiful Names. His purity is proclaimed by all that is in the heavens and the earth, and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. May our creator Allah increases our imaan(faith) exponentially, Aameen Summah Aameen, Ya Rabbul Alameen!!!

As a Muslim I find Christians to be very unmeticulous. We Muslims are insanely meticulous when it comes to texts, narrations, teachings, meanings and recordings to the point where there's so much information out there on every single word in the Quran. Reading something without resorting to the meticulous 1440 years of lifelong scholars is quite ineffective i'm sorry to say. Even as a better than average arabic language speaker, there are some poems from the 5th century, if I read them it's like i'm reading a different language, one time it took me 3 weeks to understand one page of poetry. The Quran is not only lightyears away fro poetry, it had people literally accepting Islam as they heard it because to them it was outworldly. The Arabic language is 3 parts, the text of the quran, poetry and composition. And arabic is an incredibly deep language. Reading the Quran is very good, but understanding it simply requires a large amount of effort, because simply you need to be a masterful arabic speaker with all the knowledge about the context of the time of the prophet to be able to derive meaning, especially from verses that are not very specific and can be misunderstood in the wrong context. Peace brother, wish you the best

Hey! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree with everything you said and most of it applies to the study of the Bible and Christianity as well. The only comment/question I would have about the Arabic and complexities of the language is this - why would Allah choose to reveal the Quran in a language that is so hard to study and understand?

@@daxvanderwal If Quran was so hard to understand you wouldn’t be putting islam as simple & straight forward as the first thing you appreciate most about this religion. If Quran was so hard to read, we wouldn’t have little kids as young as 3 years old memorising the entire Quran. You don’t have to be a genius to memorise the entire Quran word for word. Ever wondered what makes the Quran so easy to memorize? Now coming to the question of why arabic, a language that is so hard to study, that’s because Arabic has a rich and precise linguistic structure, which allows for subtle nuances in meaning and expression, which also makes it hard to be translated in other languages precisely and in turn ensures the preservation of the text's authenticity and integrity. Translating the Quran into other languages inevitably introduces the potential for interpretation and loss of certain linguistic aspects. Therefore, preserving the Quran in Arabic, its original language helps to maintain its original intended message. Although there are translations for non Arabic speakers the original Arabic version is the authoritative and most accurate rendition. So with the translation of the Quran, you can understand the general meaning, which is enough for you to understand your life’s purpose and why God has sent you to this earth, but if you want to fully capture & appreciate the depth, the beauty and the subtleties present in the original text, you must take the time to actually learn Arabic. Isn’t it amazing how a text written in a language so hard to study, is yet so easy to understand and memorise?

@@daxvanderwal it's not intrinsicly hard, it was the spoken language then, still Spoken today. we just became dumber, but there are many scholars who are experts in it, in fact its a requirement to understand the religion, i have a few cousins who studied that in college. Religion is one of 9 subjects you obligatorily get tested on for your highschool diploma here in Jerusalem, along with physics & chemistry But how can you write a sentence that is timeless, meaning a 7th century bedouin and a 25th century rocket scientist in a simple language? Humanity has the choice, freewill and resources not only to become better at Arabic, then they would say why is the quran in such a low level simple language. If you read up on Arabic, and the language itself pre mohammad saw, you'll understand how for an Arabic speaker it just makes sense. A simple example about poetry, it was discovered maybe 500 years ago, not sure when that if you collect all the Arabic poetry in history, you'll find that all of thoes lines in these poems fall into 16 rhymes. Thay to me is mind boggling. We have 2000 year old poetry my friend. Some regions are famous for their food, some for their women.. The Arabs were famous for the proficiency in this language, it's almost unexplainable for me. Some believe that God made them so proficient in Arabic so that the Quran can come and have those people who can stand for hours freestyling on the same 1 out of 16 rhymes, becoming a Muslim within less than a minute of listening to the Quran.. It also had to be that way for preservation reasons. The fact that there are now more arabs than ever and we've become weak in our own language is a sign of the existence of freewill, but we're better than we were 60 years ago for sure.

@@daxvanderwal That's a subjective assessment, and arguably a hyperbolic one. Is it to you that God doesn't deserve your effort? Do you claim that God made you incapable of learning? If God revealed revelation in a language that is hard to study and understand, then how is it that an English-only speaking American revert of average intelligence like myself has started to pick up on the workings and nuances of said language after 8 years? The answer is faith, interest, time and effort: all of which grows by the day. None of your reading will be of any fruit without the lynchpin of FAITH required to penetrate it. You have to make a case for the Qur'an, as I have sincerely done so for the New Testament and the Trinitarian assumptions during the days I called myself a Baptist. I TRIED and WANTED to MAKE IT all work, on a foundation of an initial assumption of faith of what is true. You haven't done the same for the Holy Qur'an and it's clear as day.

First point you don’t appreciate is not confusing. It is very simple. Quran has to be understood comprehensively. Reading one verse and focusing on it while ignoring the other verses that speak about that topic, of course you’d be confused. Here is how Muslims understand it: -Quran confirms that the original Torah and Gospel were actually holy texts. - Quran claims that those holy texts were changed. = Some of the things in those holy texts now would be from God, and some would be the word of man. The ones that confirm what the Quran states we can assume is from God, and what goes against it we know is from man. Btw Jews themselves say the same about the gospels. In fact, as a non-Christian/Jew, I can clearly see the contradictions between the two. And regarding the other details you spoke of, you have to go to Hadith. The prophet explained at the time that the texts are corrupted. And this is how we understand the Quran. We look at everything comprehensively, and this is what we are also ordered to do in the Quran. So we read the Quran, and we also read hadiths to get more clarification. Last point, Jesus was sent to the people of Israel and so were most of the the messengers in the Bible. Those were tests for them, and them corrupting it is them failing it. The Bible was not meant to be something for all of humanity. Jesus himself in the Bible states he was sent to the lost tribe of Israel (Matthew 15:24 I think).

I will respond briefly to what you objected about Islam although many points I’ve already made similar comments before: 1. When the Quran “confirms” the Torah and Gospel it doesn’t mean it’s confirming it’s content but rather that they were books from God and some things in them still have remnants of truth. I like candy but does that mean I like all candy? Confirmation merely means that yes they were indeed from God at one point. As to why God let them get distorted then that’s not the action of God but the preservation was tasked to the scribes as the Quran says. Also this argument goes against your own belief, why would God send the Torah just to nullify it’s rulings later? Why did God sacrifice Jesus so late in history when he could’ve done it sooner? Treat your questions to our faith in the same way you would treat someone questioning yours and you’ll see that you already answered yourself. 2. You say the Torah and Gospel don’t confirm Prophet Muhammad yet the Christians say the passage about Emmanuel is in regards to Jesus even though he isn’t named Emmanuel. Christians apply Isaiah 42 to Jesus even though he’s far from that description. With the same standard you justify Jesus’ prophecy from the Torah, you can justify anyone is a prophet. Also, the gospels weren’t available in Arabic until 100’s years later so it’s not far off that they could’ve been removed or mistranslated as many Christians have tried to do away with the verse about the 10,000 saints or the valley of Baca 3. What you’re saying is “appeal to authority” is in fact not appeal to authority in the fallacious sense. If scientists determine the shell of an egg is made out of calcium and I say “Islam says an egg shell is made out of calcium” that is not a fallacy in fact it’s quite the opposite. An appeal to authority fallacy is when you appeal to the OPINION of an authority. When valid evidence presents itself it’s not an appeal to authority unless it’s an issue that is disputed. In the end I’d like to say thank you for making these videos but please going forward treat our religion with the same skepticism you would if it was yours because as we can see almost all of these you mentioned can equally apply to Christianity.

Muslims argue that the Bible, over time, underwent changes and alterations, leading to discrepancies and inconsistencies. Muslims believe that the Quran serves as a final revelation from God, clarifying and reaffirming the core teachings of all previous scriptures, including the original message of Jesus. They argue that the Quran provides a more authentic and accurate representation of Jesus' teachings than what is found in the current versions of the Bible. From this perspective, the Quran confirms the essential message of Jesus, emphasizing monotheism, righteous conduct, and the worship of God. Muslims believe that the Quran restores and corrects any distortions that may have occurred in the previous scriptures. Please understand that I don't mean to offend, but it appears that you are making a hasty conclusion without acknowledging the belief that the Quran confirms the "uncorrupted message" that was sent to all prophets.

Joseph (Yusuf): Different names. Isaac (Ishaq): Different names. Ishmael (Ismail):Similar pronunciation. Jacob (Yaqub): Different names. Aaron (Harun): Different names. John the Baptist (Yahya): Different names. Jesus (Isa): Different names. Elijah (Ilyas): Different names. If you have accepted those differences, then do you think that Mohammeds name isn't going to be different in the pronunciation or a name. If God created the universe then at some level there was an interaction between the two. Throughout the Old Testament and Torah we see God entering into creation, like in the burning bush in Exodus. @@daxvanderwal But when we actually look at these verses in the bible where u claim Jesus AS is God, they are really ambiguous, I mean its really odd in how some verses he acting as a normal human/prophet and then u guys suddenly force interpretations in other verses. I mean why didnt Jesus AS make it categorically clear. I mean if it was so clear why did it take so long for the trinity to develop through history. And these qualities that Jesus AS had is not unique to him. Especially if we got back to the OT. Where angel of YHWH was given authority or angelic beings refered to as Gods (psalms 8:5). Or Psalm 82:6 where human judges are called God IE given authority. Many people where mentioned as sons of God. It makes sense Jesus was the only way to God, as muslims we have no problem. Because he came with the truth from God, meaning through him u can only get to God at that time. If we lived in the time of Moses AS the only way to get to God was through him. If my uber drive says he is the way to the supermarket does that mean he is the supermarket, obviously not. I mean u guys claim to be continuation from Judaism but contradict there main theology that they believed for centuries even before Christianity, like strict monotheism. They never believed in a trinity nor did they interpret any of the torah to assume a trinity God. Or even the verses about the messiah, when did Jews interpret the messiah ever claiming to come as God himself. inconsistent. @@youngone1021 You bring up some great points! I'll respond to a few of the main ones. 1. There are definitely moments where Jesus didn't want people to know his identity, and the answer to why is simply because it wasn't time yet. But this doesn't takeaway from the clearer claims that he does make (if he just makes one clear claim then the ambiguity elsewhere doesn't matter). Something else on the clarity of these claims is some of them don't seem super clear to us in the modern day - but to properly study the Bible you need to understand it's historical context. And when we place ourselves in the 1st century world of Jesus, then his claims become crystal clear. 2. You mentioned the angel of the Lord in the OT sharing qualities with Jesus - well I think this is Jesus (which is why I don't think it makes sense to say we don't see the Trinity in the Old Testament - the Trinity isn't a new idea). 3. Questioning why the Trinity took so long to form is a confusing question because the Trinity has existed this entire time and the Trinity has always been in the Bible. What you're referring to is the fact that it took a couple hundred years for us to call it "the trinity". But this was because the church was under heavy persecution until Constantine, so Christians weren't able to meet together and talk about doctrine in public until then.

@@daxvanderwal Well your first point doesn't really make sense because there are instances where trinitarians use verses where they say this indicates Jesus AS is God but then immediately after we say him talking in a state where you would say he is human. For example, revelation 1:17, where trinitarians would have to argue, ultimately, that Jesus is identifying himself as God by calling himself ‘the First and the Last’ and, immediately after, switching to, or speaking out of, his ‘human nature,’ due to the fact that he died. This would clearly be a case of ‘playing fast and loose’ with Scripture.” this random jumping between human and divine doesn't add up. If ‘the First and the Last’ in this case means, or ultimately implies, ‘God (Almighty), the Eternal One,’ in what way would it make sense for Jesus to say, in effect, ‘I am the Eternal God, I died but came to life’? How strange and how unlikely-if not impossible-would it have been for God to have died or said that he died? Even many Trinitarians teach that ‘God,” or the ‘divine nature/aspect of Christ,’ did not die, in any way. I think its more like pick and choosing to try force your trinitarian interpretation. I mean why wouldn't God make it very clear. He isn't the author of confusion. I think the claim of Jesus AS being angel of YHWH is very inconsistent especially how the angel came talking in the sense as a messenger. For example Genesis 22:11-12: In the story of the binding of Isaac, the Angel of the Lord intervenes to prevent Abraham from sacrificing his son. The text differentiates between the Angel and God, stating, "But the angel of the Lord called out to him from heaven... 'Do not lay a hand on the boy'... Now I know that you fear God." This passage highlights the Angel as a separate entity acting on behalf of God. Judges 6:11-24: In the story of Gideon, the Angel of the Lord appears to Gideon and speaks to him. Gideon later realizes he has seen the Angel and exclaims, "Alas, Sovereign Lord! I have seen the Angel of the Lord face to face!" (Judges 6:22). This indicates that Gideon understood the Angel as distinct from God Himself. Zechariah 1:12-13: In the book of Zechariah, the prophet has a vision of an angel who is described as "the Angel of the Lord." The angel speaks and converses with Zechariah, delivering messages from God. The text distinguishes the Angel from God, suggesting their separate identities You Christians claim to be a continuation from Judaism but how did the Jews interpret God to be as one person for centuries before existence of christianity till today but then christainity comes a long and says God is infact 3 in 1. Thats a main theological change. U infact say islam isn't the fulfilment of Christianity due to theoligical differences between them yet this same applies. And this isn't just one aspect. There are many like the messiah being God.. while early Christians faced persecution, it is incorrect to say that they were unable to discuss publicly about doctrines like the Trinity. They engaged in theological debates within their communities and through written works, and after the Edict of Milan, they had more freedom to openly discuss and define their beliefs. We can see through history that the trinity developed. I mean if the trinity was always there wouldn't have Jesus AS made it categorically clear to the people around him at the time he was God and God was 3 in 1. Yet we can see through history that trinity developed. And we can see this during council of nicean where Jesus was established to be God officially by the church and then it took another 60 years until the cappadocia Church fathers made the holy spirit part of God. I mean this is a clear part of the theology of a religion. Why wouldn't it be clear from the beginning

Within the first century, within the early Christian community, there were varying beliefs and understandings about the nature of Jesus. While the specific term "God" might not have been used universally, there were individuals who believed in the divinity of Jesus or recognized Him as having a unique and exalted status. If the scripture is so clear why was there so many theological differences. I have yet to see the Islamic theology of tawhid developing and people have varying beliefs about the oneness of Allah. I mean can u even find a verse that sums up the trinity without going to verses like 1 John 5:7 which is known as a forgery in many bibles today.

"The trinity Verses tawheed which one is more logical?" So, Worshiping the one and only god who doesn't beget nor was he born and believing in his messangers or believing that god has three forms one of them was born and raised as kid and did literally everything a mere human does and finally got killed by the humans he created to be able to forgive their sins... I wonder which one makes more sense?

The quran confirms the torah and the gospels meaning that they are not from satan or any other evil source BUT from God. this is the meaning of confirming . The quran says clearly in many verses that these books have been changed and by the priests and rabbis for political or personnal reasons . So yes , the quran confirms that your revelation is from god but at the same time it's telling you that it has been changed many times . So the quran tells you in the end to believe in the final revelation that comes to correct the mistakes and the right the wrongs and it's also tells you to believe in the bringer of this revelation Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him. So you have to take the full Quran as a source not just the part about confirming the previous revelations. And god knows best.

the thing about your objection to "appeal to authority" is the people that does not have sufficient knowledge in the subject would have a really high chance to be wrong, the reason people like scholars, biologist, etc. gain the authority is because they have studied the subject more thoroughly than the average laymen which i believe internet and podcast wont cover it. I agree you dont need to have that level of authority to be right but you need to have that level of authority to be sure that you are right.

I definitely will once I learn more about his life! It's hard too because to learn about his life you have to go to Hadith's, but there so many Hadith's that it's hard to know where to start.

Dear Dax, I am glad you have completed to read the Koran. The premises in which you started your journey should have been seeking the truth rather than supporting a religious believe as your local home sports team . Seeking the truth , which you have mentioned at some level, has only two sub inquests without making assumptions which means it asks two fundamental questions : 1) Is what I believe the truth , is the Bible the teachings of Jesus ( PBUH) himself ? 2) In the case of Islam is the Koran the truth at least in so far as to say it is the teachings of Muhammad PBUH. 1) Is the bible the truth in the sense of is it the pure teachings of Jesus? The Bible is not the unfiltered words of Jesus because here you have politicians and cultural leaders deciding what is to be the Bible in the council of Nausea , what is the nature of God , attempting to replace “Unitarianism” ( Towhiid) with “Trinitarianism”. Which the Koran points Chapter 2 verse 79 “So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn”. 2) The Koran is the only scripture that has not been changed since its revelation this is obvious and widely known due its ability to memorise its verses that is why there cannot be a council held by politicians and world leaders to decide what will be the Koran and what will be the nature of God as the Bible. Just in case you wonder why God did not preserve the Bible as the Koran, first of all God is sovereign and as such does what he wills. Secondly the message given to Jesus the “injiil” was not going to be the last message to mankind where the Koran is. The Koran confirms the original message of Jesus while it debunks the current Bible pointing out people trying to change the original message of God through Jesus as 2:79 clearly conveys. Words of wisdom and advice: taking the journey to seek the truth is very much personal first and you are not benefiting or harming anybody else but yourself , it is examining your own believes sincerely and asking is what I believe the truth ?, in your case, it should be, is the Bible the truth ? Did almighty God revealed to Jesus and other biblical prophets Trinity, regardless of emotional appeals such as simplicity versus complexity. Which the answer is definitively no however just case you need confirmation please see why Trinity cannot be sent down by God as a revelation Please react to Why I Left Christianity - Yusha Evans kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZXcqoGfos-MedU

Since we believe in an All Hearing, Merciful God no matter what our denomination is, He should be able to hear our pleas to be guided by Him and not succumb to our often imperfect and flawed reasoning/logic. Stay open minded for the answers to our questions often come later as we continue to ponder.

As for the scientific miracles of Islam, they drove the reversion of many people to Islam. I am sure you will not like that. The information on embryology in the Quran is indeed unique. It seems that you did not grasp what the verses said about it because the description of the phases of pre-born development is indeed unique and can not be known 1,500 years ago

Dear Dax Thanks for your honest reaction on the Quran. I believe you are closer to the truth already. My response to your 1st problem on Quran is as follows:- Many of the christian misunderstand the Quranic word of the Injil. It doesn’t mean the Bible at all. The injil means "Gospel of Jesus" not the gospel according to mark/ luke, Mathews... bla bla bla. Quran clearly mentioned many times that Allah revealed a book to Prophet Jesus called the Injil. You may read Mark 16:15 Jesus says "go into the world and preach the gospel to all creation". Which gospel did Jesus meant?? Those written after his death?? Not at all. There was a gospel that was present with him at that time. Now tell me where is that Gospel of Jesus??? So it’s your misunderstanding that Quran confirming the Bible but actually it’s not; it’s confirming the Gospel of Jesus. Quran never mentioned the Bible so there's no point arguing whether it says Bible has changed or not; It's just a different book. Dear Dax; you made a very good argument that if the Injil is indeed from God then it should be preserve by God Himself like the Quran. In the Quran Allah says it’s my word and I will preserve it. Dear Dax " in the Quran Allah says about Jesus ; they didn’t kill him nor they crucify him....". We Muslims believe Jesus will come back to earth Again to confirm the truth. He will come with the real copy of "Torah" and the "Gospel of Jesus" and will say to the Christian and the Jew; "Go away, I don’t know you" The problem is; you are holding a Lemon believing it an orange and someone says Orange is sweet; now you'r claiming that he is wrong. Hope it make sense.
