When Captain America:Civil War hit theaters, my friends and I were extremely excited to see it. We had our tickets pre-purchased, our sodas in-hand and big grins on our faces. Those smiles turned to frowns after just a few minutes in the theater. The audience was full of some of the worst types of moviegoers imaginable; the parents that bring their crying child, the father with the unruly kids, the loud-eating talkers, the people who continue to check their phones during the film; all there! I had to take matters into my own hands to salvage the movie-watching experience. This is my story.

Your experience with the baby sounded just like mine when I saw Thor: The Dark World the day it came out. This couple brought their newborn in and I was the lucky guy chosen to sit right next to them. Baby cried multiple times during the movie and the parents had to take it out at least a couple of times. I had to wind up going to see the movie again because I couldn't hear it half the time. Turned out paying to see it again wasn't worth it, but still, God, what a shitty experience that was.

I feel so bad, that Adam had to sit through this experience of an awesome movie, not even a stinker one, so that I can get this video and have a laugh for my entertainment. 😂 You did good there Sir. 👍🏻 It seemed like every possible worst scenario that you can think of came together in one screening. 🙈 So the title Civil War was fitting. But not on the screen, in Adam's mind. 😉

As someone who remembered and was devastated by the news of the original telling being lost this was a good retelling bro. I legit heard someone in a group of 4 guys in the theater say "guys, its no big deal, we don't have to watch this anyway, I wanted to catch up." and they all were yelling over the movie about how they are going to plan out their next semester of school, all while everyone was staring at them shaking their heads.

A screaming baby ruined the dark knight for me. During the highway chase with the semi truck just before it flipped the baby started screaming. Guy sat in the audience for what seemed like 10 minutes until he got the hint the rest of us didn’t want to hear that shit! Then he walks just out of view into the side hall way and now that babies screaming into a boom mic that’s louder then the damn explosions on screen!!!!! That went on for a good 15 minutes before the staff asked him to leave.

Dang, you got the ultimate combination of the worst moviegoers. I have only been cursed with having a couple bad movie experiences at the theater. I went to see a Quiet Place 2 this year, and a family decided that it would be a great idea to bring their baby along. Needless to say, every quiet seen in the movie was immediatley interrupted by the baby crying. I also went to see Spider Man Homecoming at the theater and a group of super nerds sat down right next to me. Throughout the whole movie they were laughing hysterically at every dumb joke. They started to lose their minds at every Marvel reference, and when different Spider-Man suits were introduced. "Oh my god, that's the Iron Spider! Oh my god, oh my god. I know this thing from the comics!" I also went to see the My Hero Academia movie in theaters. I swear there was only one seat left in whole theater and it was directly to my left. Then right before the movie started, a guy comes walking into the theater with a backpack on and nachos in hand. He sat down right next to me and throughtout the whole movie I was cramped and had to listen to him crunch down on his nachos. I love going to the movies, so I guess this is the burden we have to bare for loving movies. This video definitely gave me a good laugh today. I loved your take on the guy trying to get the last drop from his Slushy. "It's gone...it's gone." 😄 Keep up the great work.

The last time I had a bad theater experience was for The Conjuring 3. Hadn't had a bad one in a while before that. I did find a way to solve my issue! Two girls and two guys... definitely high school age, not old enough to be in the theater alone, were shouting out annoying things for everyone to hear. I turned around in my chair, and stared at them for a minute. They saw and immediately went quiet for the rest of the movie.

I usually go see movies on their opening Thursday night at the latest showtime in the most expensive theater in my area. Unless it's a Disney/Marvel movie, it's barley ever full--sometimes empty. I get this giant screen and the whole theater to myself. It's the best! I literally don't understand people with loud snacks. I usually have a small popcorn and just take a kernel one by one and eat it quietly. People are obnoxious.

I'm a few minutes into this video and my favorite quote is "a calvacade of dipshits." It's a couple of years later and it's why I don't go to the theater anymore. Last movie I saw was Avatar 2 and thankfully the movie gods were kind to me as it was a good experience. However I still refuse to go to the theater. It just isn't worth it anymore. The movie I will consider seeing in theaters is Deadpool and Wolverine and even then I'm hesitant because of said potential "calvacade of dipshits" I might have to run into.

You should go to a theater chain, like the Alamo Drafthouse. They don't allow babies or small children in their "adult" movies, only for the "kid" type moves, and they don't allow phones out during the movie. They tell you to turn them off and put them away, or they will tell you to leave.

I love hearing about terrible theater experiences. (Sorry, not sorry :)) This is so foreign to me, thankfully! It is very rare to even see people clapping in theaters here in Portugal. The thing that most annoys me in the theater is people munching on popcorn, with their mouths open, making so much noise. That's about it! Also, I don't go to sessions where there may be a lot of kids. No way!
