Fast 9: The Fast Saga is for some reason the title for the 9th Fast & Furious film. It's easily the dumbest entry in the series so far. Physics are completely thrown out the window, the script is a total mess and characters are self-aware to the point of parody. Here's my full review for Fast 9.

I was so fucking exhausted while watching this film in theatres. 2 and a half hours of just exposition dumps followed by ridiculous levels of cgi car stunts with no tension whatsoever. I went into the movie after working out and I felt pretty energized and wide awake. One hour in and I couldn’t hold back yawning anymore. I didn’t even get mad at the kid sitting next to me who texted the entire film because I could relate to how fucking bored he must’ve been.

I watched it at home and fell asleep. It took multiple sittings to get through. I believe the stuff with the car in space was actually the franchise giving a middle finger to its audience. It was that stupid. It's hard to conceive of stupider stunts than the ones in this movie.

I am not a huge fan of this franchise, but I like Vin Diesel in general. I feel bad for real fans of the series because most critics say that this stinks and defines all logic. That is really bad to real series fans. Long-term fans should be rewarded, but punished for sticking with a series for 20 years.

Catching people with cars because they are softer than the ground, magnets repelling metal, cars with tiny rockets going to space, all of this BS could work in a SciFi movie, but not a racing/petty crime movie. Calling out "the numbers" not lying while getting the numbers completely wrong to the point of absurdity is what really did it for me. it all boils down to this one truth: EVERY FF character is a mary sue. They all mysteriously gain abilities needed to move the plot forward while being protected by plot armour.

It's SO funny that you said Looney Loons bad - When the massive indestructible truck flips over, then slides for 30 miles; then rolls over and Dom is about to flip it back onto its wheel and steer it away from the cliff - I was like, is this a Road Runner cartoon? This entire franchise HAS become that - It's the fricken Warner Bros. Road Runner cartoon, with girls in skirts, fast cars and dreadful acting - No one gets hurt, no consequences at all.... When did Toretto's sister become a KungFu master, and able to take on like 7 big guys? John Cena has zero screen presence and can not even hold a candle to Dwayne Johnson - He was not good at all..... I agree with you, it should end now - I think the cast just go, oh well, its another $10 million, shut up and take the money. Oh well - If you understand that this franchise is that - A live action cartoon - Then its fine... Just leave your brain at home and drool into your popcorn :)

Its hilarious how i watched every single movie of the saga with no problems, yet i was really struggling with this one... you Forgot the most stupid part, after DOM fights those 30 dudes, he pulls the chains destroying a fucking reinforced concrete (im not english, i think its how it is called) pillar. After that scene i wanted to cut myself, seriously. Also previous movies were somehow entertaining while this isn't, its just a mix of nonsense bullshit. jesus fucking christ i could vomit, i hope they just stop and don't go on with this shit. Vin diesel was way over heavy height in the fast ×-10. But the director made sure to make him look perfect in some truly fake computer graphics. It well bring him back to his old self no time.
