Careful with those flip flops girl! I've seen some pretty nasty injuries caused by horses stepping on people wearing flip flops. From severely broken bones to major lacerations to the foot and toes. Would hate to see you get hurt. My best wishes for a speedy recovery for river he is lucky to have you :) 🐎

Poor thing - it doesn't look too bad.....I hope it heals well. I had a horse who cut her back leg quite badly on wire - the vet didn't stitch it or anything but I had to do all the bandaging and cleaning every day..... it's a lot of work - I remember, but it healed well...

I know how you feel my brand-new horse was being brought home and the trailer she was in flipped so thankfully she was insanely calm and escaped with a chip in her vertebrae from laying on the upside down trailer and a little bump above her head when they were getting her out I hope River gets better soon

Wraps are SO hard. I still have trouble with them and yes, there are so many different ways of wrapping. You did a great job! Question.... where do you get the DMSO from? I could use some of it. (Doubt they sell in Canada so I would have to order it)

I agree, HORSES!!! What are you gonna do without them though haha i had my new horse not even a month and he came up lame, pastern swollen to where he couldnt put his hoof flat. I guess you could say im new to horses and injuries as my previous horse never came up lame like that or period lol i freaked out like crazy!! Also was in the middle of a vet change 🤣 but hes fine and ive come to terms that thats his abscess prone foot, as he just had another one bust last week, he came up slightly off and thats the only way we knew he had one that time, it was completely opposite from the first one he had last year. His foot drives me crazy!!!
