I have a big collection of single shadows too! I love them. I had run out of space in my magnetic pallets and I ordered a large one for $5 from Colourpop for Christmas for myself. When I opened it they had sent the Butterfly Effect shadows instead of an empty one! I asked if I needed to send it back and they said to keep it and enjoy!

There are sooo many beautiful singles. I have a lot I want to buy in the new year! I think I'm going to try and resist buying palettes this year, and stick to building my singles collection. (I say that now, but in 5 months I'll have a bunch of new palettes because I have no self control, haha! 🙈) Also I can't believe we're at the end of Indiemas! I feel like December flew by!

When you are moving them around, how do you remember the brand and name? Are there stickers under the pans?

Yes! Brands that sell single shadows typically do put the names under the shadow on a sticker so it’s really easy to reference and remember. I had some shadows from Lethal Cosmetics specifically that I bought in a palette instead of as singles (the Velvet Dusk and After Dark collections) and I had to add labels to the back of those specific shades, but otherwise it’s really simple! I also add labels to pans of eyeshadows from regular premade palettes that are magnetized (ex. Anything from Colourpop, Give Me Glow, Natasha Denona, etc) so I know exactly where they’re supposed to go and what brand they’re from when I use them as singles

Yessss! This is the video we've all been waiting for haha. You have soooo many singles, you must be able to dupe like every palette out there! For the shop miss a palettes, mine of that exact same design broke the same way yours did, so perhaps it was a production error where they didn't put in enough glue or something. Regarding Vanessa's Vanity *side eye* I purchased shadows in February and still have not gotten them. Covid and what not has caused a lot of issues, but she's also personally had a rough year. Yep, yep, I understand, but...getting in contact with her has been a pain, and she eventually shut her etsy site down-down. As in it doesn't exist anymore. Noooootttt happy.

Awesome collection Amy! I sorted them by colour a couple of days ago to see what I have plenty of ore where I have gaps to fill. Waiting for some more empty palettes to arrive. I also got the XXL from Givemeglow for $10.00 they have small blemishes and please be aware that the glue on the magnetic part dried out on one of mine and I was lucky enough to spot it before any mishaps happened. Glued back together with some strong glue and it's fine now. My other one was fine though. Oh and I dislike it if 26mm pans don't fit snugly in an empty palette, don't like water space...

I love singles. They are definitely where my heart is🥰 I have a bunch of those Shop Miss A palettes too, and I'm happily impressed. I also got a bunch of book style ones with multiple 'pages' to them from Ali Express, and they hold a ton but you can see all of them which I need. If I can't see them, I don't use them lol. I know that palettes are very much the popular thing right now, but for the most part, I feel like I can dupe out just about every color story...I still use my palettes, especially for traveling (I'd be too worried to go anywhere with my *precious* Clionadh shadows lol) - maybe someday we can do that again :D

I bought three of Shopmissa's 9 pan empty palettes on black Friday because they were 75c each 😅 I already had six of them, but I figured they'd be handy for having multiple curated colour stories on the go 😂 I want to try doing weekly custom palettes with my singles, my main issue last year was not having the time to make them each week but if I make a bunch at once when I have creative energy that might work better 🤔
