I am old enough to remember when those things were brand new, which was before you were born. Awesome to see the younger generation taking an interest in things when life was good. It was the best time. You have a great collection of vintage items and you really have more of a vintage museum going on than just a collection. Great video.

That small little ceramic vase is exactly like the one my father gave to me....filled with little roses....the day I was born!...... and I’m 75! I loved this video so much Emelyne! Notification bell is on! 💕 I’d love to see you try to use those vintage electronics! Just make sure to disinfect them before you have skin contact, like the razor! I know white vinegar is good to disinfect old silverware and china. It’s delicate but does the job, so maybe you can google how to disinfect some of those product! Can’t wait to see more! I’m ready!!! Also I was going to throw this out there, I love your vlogs! They aren’t necessarily vintage but at this point you seem like a pen pal so I enjoy seeing what your up to on the daily. 💕💕♥️♥️♥️

We used to call the spare insert for the compacts, 'refills'. Some compacts were used to carry business cards or cigarettes even. Combs have 'teeth'. I take such things for granted, but for young people today such things are understandably fascinating. Loved seeing items from my past. Cheers Linda 😃

I could be wrong, but I think your pastel floral vases are are type of ceramic called chalkware. Your candle thing is called a candle snuffer. My favorite thing in your very cute collection of stuff is your tea cup that looks like it could be Royal Alberts Old Country Roses pattern. Don't feel bad about forgeting what some of your stuff is called. I am sure most people would forget stuff after a few hours of shooting a video.

Great video! I love all of it. I know it's been a while since this was posted, but I thought I'd comment anyway. Chantilly is pronounced "shan-tilly." I think some of the compartments for the compact-like purses are for cigarettes, and I agree that they should make them again! I'd want an acutal money compartment instead of cigarettes though. My grandma used to have that exact same tabletop hair dryer and it worked great even 30+ years later, so you may even put it to regular use again if you want.
