As someone who has driven HMMWVs for a long time. Never use 4 low for anything but ascending. They already have such a hard time getting the tires spinning in muddy terrain. But I'm jealous you have your own HMWWV. This is awesome.

Garrett, that tube on the back of the air box is not a vacuum line. It’s the breather system for the front and rear differentials and transfer case. This is where the vampire comes in. If you ever see oil coming out of that nipple inside the air box, the transmission is now leaking in to the T case, front and rear differentials and overflowing in to the air box.
