Thank you for such a great review! My son is my partner, and yes, my husband and daughter in law both work with us in all we do. We have a small store and commercial kitchen were we prepare each of our home cooked meals. (Home cooked being small batches where were we grate the cheese, cut the chicken and vegetables) We love what we do and look forward to sharing our flavorful meals with you all on your many adventures! Thank you again Mark and Gina for taking us along on this adventure

Thanks for the shout out Mark. I am glad you got a chance to try My Hunny's Kitchens products and look forward to your future reviews. They are hands down one of the best freeze dried meals I have had. I am glad you mentioned the salt content, I reduced my salt intake several years ago to help with my blood pressure and love that My Hunny's kitchen does not have the heavy salt content that the other commercial freeze dried meals contain. Thanks again for the shout out.

Thanks for the video, Mark and Gina. These videos always make me hungry, but at least I watched this one at lunchtime and I can get something to eat! I saw a Barnyard Outdoors episode where he prepared one of My Hunny's Kitchen meals, and it looked so good I went to the web site and bought several. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to try one yet, but now (especially with my weather cooling down quite a bit this week) I'm really anxious to give them a try! EDIT: corrected spelling for Gina's name

Great video and tasting you two. Thank you. The meals sound good. They are about 84 miles from my Kansas home, I had heard of the town but don't recall visiting. A nice little road trip 1 hour 28 minutes away. Looks like the have a retail store front. Thank you again.

G'day Mark, Gina, thanks for the look, demo and taste test. No "numbers" got my attention immediately. I love herbs and spices for flavor and pretty sure there's significant nutritional/health benefits as a bonus, (I really wish there was more research). The shelf life is outstanding too and gotta love a family business doing things with care. Does look a little on the small side, but hey, for us greedy guts, no reason why you couldn't have something extra to go with it. I'm think'n some bacon, ........ just to up the saltiness Mark ; ) Personally, I dont mind the dry side, but yep "saucy" (perfect word Gina), does generally make for more ..... ummmm ..... indulgence ..... and besides ........... it goes further ; ) Cheers Duke. P.S. dont think I could ever go full keto, too many favs I'd have to give up ; ) though I am veering in that direction and this is a prime example of where choosing a keto friendly version is no great sacrifice.
@MarkYoungBushcraftАй бұрын
Hey Duke. Having been on keto for close to four years I don't find myself missing the foods I thought I would as much. I do indulge once or twice a year in non-keto meals for special occasions. Best thing, for me at least, my body can switch back and forth now with no issues. Thanks for commenting

Mark, off topic question but I’ve watched several of your videos about Fire Maple products. I went to their site to check out a few items and was curious where they were from. I assumed with a name like Fire Maple, and found them on your channel, that they were Canadian, but no where on their site can I find out where they are from. Also, can I assume all their products are Made in China like so many others? Still going to buy their HX Pot and Orange Light in Copper and maybe a few other items too. Was just curious where they are from. Thank You in Advance.

I’m surprised they aren’t like $20 a meal. They’re pretty much on par with other offerings….which often kinda suck. Hey Mark, I believe you did a video once involving using carbon or graphite felt. Do you remember where you got it? I can only find what looks like very thin stuff on Amazon, or thicker but there’ll be import fees, customs etc…
