Nice knives. Bark River knives are awesome. I own several. But that's not a scandi grind. That's a convex grind which, in my opinion, is superior to the scandi grind. I'm sure many will disagree with me. Just voicing an opinion.

@@3riverblades In any case ... you have a nice collection. I'm a collector myself and own 4 Bark River but I have more than 300 knives in my collection. There are so many great choices. Ironically, I prefer the convex grind but I carry a folding knife by Casstrom that has the scandi grind. LOL

@@boldlygo3469 300 knives, wow! What causes you to buy a knife? What are you looking for when you go shopping? Do you stick with the same brands? Do you use all of your knives or is it strictly art to you? Do your knives hold and appreciate in value if you decide to sell one? How important is the sheathe to you? Do you care about the sheathe? Are there alot of guys like you that collect so many knives and where do they go to buy their knives?

@@JT-jg8le I was a kid when I got my first knife. It was a simple pocket knife. I used to watch my dad sharpen his hunting knife and pocket knives. He bought me a fixed blade skinning knife for Christmas one year and I was hooked. It was a very cool knife with a bone handle. Since then, I started buying knives for the utility. Then I started buying unique knives and also knives from around the world. It became a hobby. Some of my knives are very expensive. Some are hand made. Others come from known, reputable companies. I don't buy them as much these days as I used to but if something really catches my eye ... I'll nab it.
