Poor? She kept the house. The car. The kids. Bonus money that she didn't even work for. She's not poor she just needs to realize that now things have changed and she can't afford to continue living the rich life she had. Example. I could never afford a 2000 dollar mortgage. So I don't. Easy. And why did they plan kids if they had debt besides the house? People need to plan their lives better. Everyone wants to live like a king.

I know that Dave advocates for mothers to stay at home once they have children but situations like this are exactly why it can be a bad idea. For a lot of men, being the sole breadwinner gives them a sense of control and creates a power imbalance in the relationship. Putting the kids in that environment would probably be toxic and cause further problems. Can family and friends help her with the children while she work and put the kids in an activity to keep their minds busy especially that 14 year old. I feel for this woman.
