My husband did just that. He had a boss that kept an unsafe shop of unsafe rental equipment. He was verbally abusive. My husband put the word out he was looking…got an offer. Soon after the boss tried to send out a broken machine and my husband refused to help because it wasn’t safe to rent out. He was fired. He walked out with a smile. Called me then called the other job. Had a new one before he got home. We only have a small mortgage payment and we pay all the paper bills with my paycheck. It’s very freeing to be able to just walk away.

I don’t understand why ppl are so sceptical about the vaccine, all you gotta do is google how antigens and antibodies work. I mean I understand the privilege of freedom of choice but if you look at third world countries that still haven’t been able to eradicate diseases like poliomyelitis. It'd really be nice if Dave would start standing up and speaking out against these mandates. He has influence, he should use it to help protect people's jobs. Instead, he just keeps saying "Well, be proud of yourself for sticking with your values, but...tough luck!" He's played it very politically safe since the vaccine tyranny started, and I have to admit, it's made me think less of his sense of principal. I've heard him rant and rave over things far less egregious and damaging to people's lives.

Yes, I’ve thought the same thing. It’s clear where he stands politically and on all these issues, but he’s been playing it safe. I think partly it’s to not alienate some of his audience. And also, I think he’s being careful to not upset the powers that be, to maintain his position in the face of whatever might come. But there need to be more voices speaking up about all this stuff - including influential voices that reach lots of people and effect change.

Not surprised John didn’t challenge this lady on this episode. Previous episodes he’s challenged the lady that was calling (where Dave wasn’t sitting next to him) on why she wouldn’t get the vaccine and that he liked to stick closer to the science side of things so it’s never been a concern for him. Ken kinda took over after that though so he didn’t expound on that too much but you could speculate where it was going.
