Heart Evangelista is now being bashed with her latest vlog when she said she's slowing down on luxury and will only buy stuffs that will really stay with her till she grows old and it's the simple things that really matters. This after her unending Fashion Weeks and lux galore that viewers had enjoyed though some bashed her for being frivolous. Now that she's slowing down people still bashed her it's so sad. I see a pattern in KZbinrs now getting burned out but as a follower/viewer I did enjoy and appreciate all your hardwork that had entertained me esp in my down days. I love watching your lux reviews and styling tips. I think there is more to love with old lux or lux that you already have. No need to unbox new stuffs, It's crazy when YTers just show Birkins all the time. It's not relatable to most of us and though it's quality for a 10k it should but there's more fun in lesser priced lux so you can also enjoy other lux experiences.

I think there has been a shift in the culture of buying designer that has definitely changed how many people feel. I’m sure this varies across different classes, but growing up middle class designer goods were something you either saw on celebrities (the rich) or in fashion magazines (beautiful fantasy land that you only dreamed of)… it was not something that you necessarily saw as obtainable, but you admired it. Fast forward many years - being able to save up for and buy a real leather Gucci bag was amazing and special and felt like a dream come true or an accomplishment that you could be proud of (cause you worked for it). That was the only designer bag you had for a while - you cherished it. Then you saved up for another because you realized you could… and another… and suddenly everyone from normal walks of life is saving and buying them. They became obtainable. You see them on the street. Fast forward again. Young influencers are unboxing them constantly and you think you should be able to obtain at the same pace. Fast forward one more time. Fashion houses embrace fast fashion - there is a new collection every 5 seconds and if you don’t pre order or know someone or camp out, you’re going to miss out. So you have to buy sight unseen and you don’t even have time to save for the item while dreaming about it. It comes to you with quality issues, but if you send it back, it won’t be replaceable because it’s sold out! So you keep it. Tomorrow the next bag is coming out so you better scoop that up too before it’s too late. Oh, and there’s another price increase while quality declines. It feels like they are laughing at us - put out anything with a logo, don’t quality check, raise the price, the masses will buy it with a smile. They think we are dumb… and we are. Traveling back in time like 10 years… visiting Louis Vuitton or Gucci (I wasn’t into Chanel yet) was a LUXURY experience. You would sit and browse with a glass of champagne. Chatting with the sales associate was fun. Your items were packaged nicely. I was given macaroons on my birthday! They sent me flowers for my wedding! And I was not a big spender back then, I didn’t have the means. But these added details definitely made spending so much on a BAG part of the cost/value. Shopping was a fun experience and whatever I picked out was always top notch. In more recent times, I’ve spent a fortune and have been made to feel like I should thank the designer house for accepting my peasant money. We now beg them to take our money and they turn their noses up. I shouldn’t have to beg to give you my money. Everything seems to be just chucked in a box. Cannot get the appropriate bag for a collection. Never get any mailings. Do most of my shopping online now cause the associates are rude or the turnover is so bad I can’t get a regular one. I’m afraid to return items with issues cause I might “get banned” from buying in the future. Can you imagine - banning your most devoted customers because they buy too much/spend too much? The insanity. I’m in a battle currently with Chanel over a pair of earrings that turned green on me after only wearing them a handful of times - so I’ve been treated better at Target with costume jewelry. Luxury, to me, is enjoying an experience or having an experience feel special that becomes memorable… whether it’s inside Louis Vuitton or at a Longhorn Steakhouse! It’s got nothing to do with the pricing. One of my most luxurious shopping experiences was in a Coach store in Boston! Because the sales associate was amazing to both my husband and I, not because of the purse I bought (although it’s a very nice bag!) Shopping designer also makes me feel anxiety ridden and sick these days and I have been trying to “get over the addiction”. It’s absolutely an addiction… to hunting, to acquiring, to getting a package, to having something new… whatever each person’s particular joy comes from. Thank you for reading my novel. 🤣

Luxury is doing exactly as I please and having fun doing it, while carrying my Birkin. I’m 65 and have built a business, had kids, grandkids, saved very well for retirement (yep, retired this year) so overall no regrets. Spend and do what you want if it makes you happy, trust me, life is short.

My love for luxury bags has dwindle too near nonexistent these days. It started back around 2018-2019. I still love my current collection but my desire for more is gone. I started buy luxury bags way back in 2000. But it was in moderation until 2015. That’s when I think I went overboard to where I can say I was addicted to buying. 2018 was when I realize how unsustainable that amount of shopping was and put on the brakes. I no longer know what is the latest bag released now and I’m so much more happier. What luxury is to me now is being able to spend time with my family. The freedom of time. I’m a SAHM. Being able to make all school break special by being able to go on family adventures together. Travel to new places and experience different culture.

Absolutely love new Caitlin! I completely agree that being able to take care of ourselves is a total luxury!! I work in healthcare with kids that have cancer and I realize that when I’m off and I have the ability to go to a coffee shop and enjoy a coffee and be mindless for a few hours is a complete luxury compared to some of the struggles the families I work with have. I know everything is all relative and I can’t compare, but work does give me a whole new perspective on my problems. Happy your health is getting better!! Would love to see more ramble videos on these topics :)) and if you were gonna have more declutters/vlog sales, always love seeing those

I think it's totally normal to go through this transition. While I am not able to afford any sort of designer things, I still had the same experience growing up. In my 20's, I wasn't myself at all. Trying to go to the newest hottest clubs (despite not really like partying or drinking), buying the most trendy stuff at Forever 21/the mall that I could afford, etc. Desperately trying to be someone I'm not. But after I turned 30, all that urgency to feel "popular/trendy or loved by the whole world" just kind of went away. I don't care about what anyone else thinks of me, except my inner circle. Now I cherish experiences over things, and I do save money for my health, my future, and a few higher end things that I truly love for their design. It simply feels luxurious to not have those worries of being able to afford basics, and to live my life for myself. Also, don't worry about your content. Just make it about what you love now. I like the direction your channel is going. Luxury isn't what companies tell us we need. Luxury is a feeling, a lifestyle, treating and adorning our bodies like a temple. Your channel can move towards styling and lifestyle vlogs. Personal Style doesn't have to be labels all the time. An influencer that comes to mind is Amber Scholl - she is inspiring in that she still loves Luxury shopping but her style has a mixture of many different things rolled into one to complete a look - eBay, Luxury brands, Dollar store DIYs, sometimes highstreet stores. Speaking of which, please link the etsy store for the mini kelly please 😍

I’m got six mini Kelly dupes from handbag resort, they look exactly like the real one except no logo. Surprisingly good quality and perfect stitching especially for a dirt cheap price. Hermes is so overrated. I have four Kelly bags that I bought during my Hermes phase but now they just sit in my closet. Horribly impractical bags. And the mini size is especially impractical

I really enjoy luxury bags but they are nowhere near as valuable to me as my time, freedom, health, peace, family and options. I only have one body and one life whereas there a millions of mass produced Chanel bags and even Birkens which are rare will always exist. I enjoy owning luxury bags to denote my achievements but I’ve always wanted a carefully curated collection of pieces which reflect my aesthetic and are special to me as they hold sentimental value. I’m detached from the constant “buy buy buy” trends and more about finding timeless pieces which I treasure. There are so many other luxuries beyond material goods as you mention that as I get older I prioritise way more. LOVE this video and mindset shift.

How am I just now seeing this video for the first time!? I so much relate to this, and honestly I think it has a lot to do with our generation being the first to be online in this capacity. Maybe this was a hobby for us in our 20s and we ended up building an entire platform around it not realizing that later on in life we may outgrow it. We are 100% in the same boat the only difference for me is that I actually work in the industry and that is an issue that I have been struggling with for the past few years. Thank you so much for sharing this it was right on time❤❤❤

birkin is one of those bags you think you need but then once you have it you just end up not using it. if that makes sense. imo, i prefer the kelly (25 or 28) because it's more practical. i totally sympathise with you know living in an island country, the disadvantages of doing multiple flights just to get somewhere (compared to europe where travel is so easy because of the accessibility).

Hi Caitlin, no worries about the changes that you are experiencing. And all what you named are valid. Luxury is so much more than beautiful clothes.I agree with all Health, taking care of your health and beauty it is luxury. Love acupuncture. facials, to me would be hiring ballet and gyrotonics teacher, home on the Ocean, and yes private jet 😜 i am looking forward to all of that. But to me luxury also, that my husband will get his quantum healing, that i wake up and dont need to worry about any medical procedures, that i perform for him. Travelling . You know sometimes we are filling up an empty space, in our lives with new cloths, bags, its like drug. But when you are truly happy and have significant other in your life, those expensive things become frivolous. You know when i was dating my husband , he used to take me to NBA games, court seats, and we were sitting with all these celebrities, all these women in designer clothes and bags, and all plastic surgeries and extensions, and i used to look at them, like what the heck , i dont need all of that. I was happy. Yes i loved to shop, but my luxury understanding, at that time , didnt cost thousands of dollars. And i could afford it… but when my husband got sick, and my life turned upside down, the luxury items, i guess is my escape, from reality, well at this time. I dont think anyone will or should take anything offensive. We need to stop being judge mental , i healed from that habit😳😜 i appreciate everyone’s experience and reality. Have a blessed day🙏🧡

Luxury to me... to simplify because I do love nice things as I'm a Taurus... is fine jewelry. I just feel that it's a better investment than bags or clothes. From green quartz jewelry sets to emerald bracelets to... well to anything slightly sparkly or beautiful that can go on my wrist, ear or neck.... including Tiffany's but not too fancy to shop the American store Zale's

I am not at the life stage where I can own a lot of things that many people would recognize as "luxuries" such as designer handbags. I'm not able to drop $20k on a bag or shoe but I would agree with your idea of luxury (I'm mid video). I see luxury as a lifestyle and the privilege to indulge in myself and that's a combination. of high and low items and opportunities. For instance, I own two boutique/high end gym memberships. I know I know...who's that girl? But, for the longest time I refused to go to the gym because it wasn't my cup of tea and during the pandemic I gave myself permission to try pole dancing and arial lyra.... that was my first membership but then I realized I needed extra conditioning so i joined another gym where I love the classes. The fact that I'm working out and enjoying what I'm doing and can feel and see results where I had none before makes the purchase worth it to me and the day it doesn't make sense...I'll move on. It's like your choice to buy a none name brand bag. It helps that you own all the bags you want for now and could easily afford more so choosing a less known brand doesn't feel like you're trapped by lack of money or opportunities. It's a well rounded choice from the secure mindset and position your in now.

I totally get you. I knew from the getgo that I value my freedom more than branded lux items. Like I don’t wanna feel unsafe on the streets or that I have to take a taxi because of my bag or than I can’t party or have a good time at a club/restaurant because I’m worried about my bag. So I buy resistant lux bags and rtw but I’m not so invested in that anymore. I think, will that item reduce my freedom? If the answer is yes, I won’t get it.

Totally with you. Replicas definitely aren’t for me especially because I’m scared on buying online I prefer to go to a store and try things so that’s why I prefer a contemporary bag that’s reminiscent of a designer than buying replicas. designer bags is not for me, I’m not careful enough to buy a true Chanel classic flap. I have three bags which I love that feel like the classic flap but getting the real thing would just stress me out.

I agree. I watch a girl who does interviews on the streets of say, Paris or NYC or Italy and when you see many women carrying a Birken, then how is it luxury? So many people having the access to it takes away from the idea of luxury, I would think. As you said in another video, back in the day, LV was for trunks for people traveling to Europe for months at a time. Now, just about anyone can buy some sort of LV. After seeing all the brands under LVMH, why would I want to support that CEO becoming a billionaire? He's probably laughing at all of us. I would think that being afraid to use something, isn't luxury. I would also think someone like Kate Middleton doesn't have what's sitting in your closet room behind you and luxury is being able to buy the stuff but choosing not to and being more discerning about what you use and purchase. Just my opinion.

Omg Caitlin! So I’m not judging you at all because I’ve felt the same way (in a slightly different manner). Watching you and your style and outlook change so similarly to mine is super eerie, but it makes me realize that it’s certainly not just us. Plenty of women like us grow up thinking this is a lifelong obsession, until we’re almost distended by it for some reason. I appreciate your honesty, I’ve seen ugly expensive crap for too long lately (which is in part why I deactivated my bag account). Ever since an insta friend of mine showed me DHGATE, I’ve been super turned off to buy myself designer anything. That black seasonal Chanel bag I showed you when we last spoke is literally the bag bag I’ve bought, and it’s been well over a year (I used to buy 3-4 bags a year). Love you ❤️ Be true to yourself always

I'm a bit late to the party and I should point out that my opinion comes from the point of view of someone who has never had much money and most likely never will. The clip you played where you talked about trying to obtain that elusive feeling and there being a void was spot on. We may live in different worlds, but I think most, if not all of us, go through that very same thing, regardless of who we are. Some try to fill that void with food or sex or drugs, while others try to fill it with expensive handbags. And while each of those things may lead to very different paths and outcomes, at the end of the day the question is the same for everyone: has this made me happy? In my opinion, the fact that your idea of luxury has evolved and changed is a sign of maturity, being content with who you are, and realizing happiness is found in moments, not things. Sure, I can watch someone unboxing a Kelly bag and I'll think "oh that's pretty". But it's just a purse. That's it. That's all it is. No more, no less. It's just a freaking purse. But give me a quiet evening curled up by the fire with a cup of creamy hot cocoa and a juicy romance novel - now THAT is luxurious.

To me, luxury is money in the bank for emergencies; luxury is dropping $7k on my dogs emergency surgery without going into debt, luxury is knowing that would be able to pay all bills for over a year without any income, luxury is being able to retire. Not worrying, that’s luxury to me. I still love my luxurious, designer stuff but I have enough of it and security feels like more of a luxury at this stage in my life.

Luxury to me is getting up in the morning , going through your daily routine , enjoying the quiet moments of tne day , your daily rituals , interacting with family , pets , co-workers. Coming home , enjoying dinner , taking a nice shower , sleeping in your own bed , getting a good nights sleep then getting up in the morning and doing the same thing over and over again . Those are the greatest luxuries to me . Thanking God everyday for everyday blessings . The rest of it is just stuff although I do like stuff !

Sometimes you just have to get things out of your system. It wasn’t wrong. You were where you were, and now you have had enough of that, and have moved on. We are all growing and changing. Honestly, if I had a lot of money, I might not do anything with it. I would just love the financial security it would give me. The knowledge that if anything financially bad happened, I would be fine, because I could throw money at the issue. As for your channel, it is you and your personality that is the real attraction. Just be authentic and tell the truth. Tell us where you are, and what you are genuinely interested in. Take us with you on your journey through life. People who are on the same wavelength will follow you, those who aren’t will drop out. I am very short and used to wear very high heels when I was younger. But now I just can’t. They hurt my knees.

If you want to transition your content, it is best to bring in people to interview about luxury. That way you’re still giving people what they want but you don’t also have to show all the products on your own. You can interview people who have luxurious items. And that way you can talk about the luxury that you enjoy, lifestyle luxury. Or you can report on luxury, like super dacob and the fashion bunker.

Or at the very least, u know u could have used the money for something else. (opportunity cost).

The word “disease” reminds me of someone who is still deep into luxury bag shopping. I think once we are done collecting what we want to collect and probably sold off some along the way; designer bags soon lose their lustre. Now I will only buy if the potential bag fills a hole in my wardrobe. I was obsessed with bags but thankfully not anymore. I love fashion and my bags are simply accessories to complete my ootd.

I think we all go through different stages in life and we also change along our years so it is Ok to follow your gut. I started buying luxury bags at my 35s so i started pretty late cause i focused more on traveling and convenience of life. Then i got hooked with bags cause i love leather craftsmanship and i had the budget to do so. During covid period i could not travel so i invested more heavily in my family home reno and built a pool and a sun patio for my mom. It gave me joy to be able to be generous with my family and build spaces which will create new memories. Now i find myself having a 50 bag collection of a variety of brands and i wanted to get a mini kelly and was quoted 22k usd. I thought of all the things i could do with that money. I am not crazy enough to buy one so i bought a fake one from a guy who makes them to order and i could even get a tailored made longer strap with it lol i thought how silly it is to buy a 22k usd bag that doesn’t even have a long strap to crossbody for taller/curvier women lol do i feel bad for buying a superfake mini kelly? Nope! I could even go into an Hermes store with it hahaha i am not ashamed because i know i have the budget to buy the authentic one and i choose not to. Besides, i hate Hermes games, his they snob people and make them kissass to get a bag that its not so difficult to make. I put my authentic hermes twilly on the handle and NOBODY has even thought for a reason it was fake. Oh and by the way, all my 50 bags chanel, hermes, loewe, etc are authentic so i know how craftsmanship looks like. I placed an order for a second mini kelly and i could care less what other people think 🤣 ohh and i dont have to worry about updating my home insurance or people stealing my bag. I carry it rain or sunshine 😂😂😂 Im not saying i will never buy a bag again, all im saying is whenever i want a bag that has an insane price tag (for me any bag priced over 9k usd), i will buy a superfake and wont feel bad about it. Hermes has much more to be ashamed of in my opinion!

Honestly this is so refreshing to hear. Your health is your wealth! I’ve seen so many ppl spend their money on luxury items instead of a down payment for a mortgage, travel internationally, get a gym membership, or even go get their teeth fixed. It’s all about keeping up with a fake world, social media has made this hard because you are seeing it all the time and the influencers are getting younger and younger. At 25 I was focused on finishing my professional schooling or working and saving money for my retirement. Now you see 20 something’s unboxing birkins or doing $10k hauls. To me luxury is having your life in order finances health etc….not having to worry about paying your bills and being able to travel and experience different cultures. Having a secure retirement, life insurance, stocks investments etc. There are young ppl here in the US that have literally never left their home town but are decked out in Gucci or standing in line for the latest sneaker drop. I would love to see videos of your travels! Thank you for starting the conversation❤

I agree. Luxury is subjective and it definitely changes. My initial idea of luxury was in 2017 - I bought a coach bag for 87 euros, with my own money. I felt at the top of the world and thought this luxury thing was actually fun and reachable. And maybe I should look at Chanel next. (I thought it being more expensive would be like 300 or 500, I quickly learnt that a Channel bag costed about 3000 etc 😂) Note- therefore do not feel insecure about using a kelly dupe. There are people who would not even recognise it as a kelly and just think its a cute bag. And I did grow to like actual luxury but for me my initial purpose was and still is to find quality things I love and will use for years and years. So I will still be really interested in non-designer shoppings and life style videos. As for what luxury is for me- its the actual high end designer shopping but also so much more. Its the idea of doing what I want, when I want without worries about costs, timing or work. So it includes travelling to see my friends, eating expensive chocolate or ice creams, not looking at the price tag when buying groceries, spending an entire day reading romance novels, its the sisley face cream I buy- (which is extremely over priced but makes me feel sooo relaxed and great), living in a nice neighbourhood etc. And I think thats enough of me rambling back to you 😃

I love luxury handbags don't get me wrong but I have always had this mindset of they are only a very small luxury that is not important at all when it comes to what truely are luxuries in my life. My first big one is health, our health is so important for a happy and comfortable life and so many people miss out on this due to health insurance prices or where they live in the world, being able to visit health professionals and be able to go to yoga and eat healthy are such luxuries The luxury of travel, travel is the biggest privilege of all, I'm always so grateful I can travel, even when it's a budget airline. I am able to visit my family in south Australia when I can because of this luxury, a bonus luxury is being able to buy my home, especially with these rent price increases effected so many around the world. Australian people are now homeless because of this rent crisis. And the last one for me is my family. I have an incredible and supportive family and so many people do not have this. I'm grateful everyday for my family. I have always loved luxury brands but I've never felt upset because I can't get certain item or afford certain items. I've never had a wish list I've actually felt "purse peace" always and never obsessed over the next big trend. My bag and shoe collection is smaller than most but that's how I like it.

I just started my “luxury” channel about 6 months ago and it’s a lot of fun but I have to keep it simple or I will become overwhelmed and that’s not what it’s about for me. To me luxury is being happy and healthy and well rested and the ability to spend time with the people I love. If I’m thinking about luxury from a materialistic standpoint though, it’s good quality and great customer service. I refuse to play the chanel and Hermes game, because having to fight or strategize my way to owning a bag is so unenjoyable and takes away all the good feels that shopping luxury should bring to consumers.

You're being honest and it's refreshing! Also wisely, you're seeing this as part of a journey and one which you understand to be about experience. Luxury to me is about: 1. Quality; ultimately this is about value for money in 3 , but this is undercut if we buy on impulse or buy trends. But we're only human... 2. Good aesthetics; an essential part of this. This is subjective and subject to constant revision as a look we previously wouldn't be caught dead in, gains traction and we are exposed to it via media in all forms. But there's a lot to admire also. 3. Buying wisely. To suit myself and my lifestyle. An honest appraisal of my strengths and weaknesses is part of this. A big part for me is to buy overlooked or underloved items and fix them. I. might buy a package of items and the one I thought I wouldn't use, gets daily use. I bought the equivalent of a LV speedy for AUD $60. It's an Etro Paisley Boston style bag. I am using it daily it's really surprised me as my most used bag. Incredibly that bag retails for $1,200 or so and mine is in perfect nick. I comfort myself about wastage in other purchases when I do things like this, but really I'm just having myself on. 4. Aspirational. To suit intended lifestyle and an idealised view of how others will perceive you. (this is receding as reality sets in but I think if everyone is honest there is a fantasy life that we are buying into either consciously or unconsciously and this is another weird aspect of the influencer role which you're blowing up, and well done I say! As others can live gratuitously through others and it's a bit odd to do this.). Sometimes we buy because we might gain kudos and social acceptance. Now this is flipping on its head for several reasons: - economic change and uncertainty, - inverted snobbery, it's uncool now to be materialistic cf. cool to recycle and buy vintage - fear of crime, being robbed - fewer occasions to be seen, eg. racing is now uncool, people are dressing more casually, working from home is here to stay. I have a Gucci Jackie bag in black and literally have not worn it once. It is simply wrong for my lifestyle but somehow I imagined myself wearing it and looking good in my imaginary life. But it's just too sombre and not big enough. 5. Association. To be identified in a group this is linked to 4, but it is also about insecurity and the need to belong. Images are powerful in this. The ultimate marketing campaigns were done by Tom Ford when with Gucci, he was just incredible. I recommend the videos on him talking about his life and the role of luxury and his journey as a designer. It's riveting. He's remarkably candid about it, and he has a lot of insight especially about the fleeting nature of fame. That said he still loves design obviously and has his own house now. But the peak of his design was with Gucci, to me anyway, and that remarkable velvet era with the hipster pants etc. He really understood how to translate aspiration and also the transformational power of clothes. But to me the Tom Ford brand is just way too minimalist and self conscious. 6. History and context., researching the brand and the current and past looks. This is fascinating and I go down rabbit holes doing this. It's linked to aesthetics in 2. and Association 5. above. There are so many cultural references, there is just so much in this. Art and design are closely linked. I find it fascinating to unpack why I'm attracted to certain things or why I remember certain things, and then realise my brain is busily selecting for me. The unconscious mind is very powerful there and it's got a huge part in creativity. This is something we all explore in some way. 7. Anticipating future trends, this is fun and part of getting the most out of the wardrobe. Future trends are inherently speculative and I have a lot of fun with colour as this is the key starting element for any season. It's very psychological and interesting in terms of the zeitgeist. There is something in the collective unconscious there. I remember a few years ago thinking: violet or mauve is a colour that hasn't been used for a long while and thinking this might be one and then voilà it's colour of the year. I really enjoy street fashion but too much is like too much of anything. It can make you feel a bit sick. I think too much good taste is like this also. After a while you just want to say to yourself, 'oh get over it. It's just not that important.' And yet we dress every day and the self we present to the world is a creative act.

It’s great you aren’t going with the flow and save your money to latter maybe become rich. Many think it’s judgemental but I believe if you aren’t rich it’s better not to spend on bags like Chanel or top luxury brands. I’m not saying never do it but it’s better to wait till you feel like you can do it without stressing about the price. It’s really great that if you don’t want to don’t fall into the pressure and maybe it’s not real pressure and no one really judges you or treats you. It’s just the pressure that everyone has designer items but you are taking the better decisions by saving your money. From what I can gather you earn your money on comission and maybe one month you do amazingly or a few months do great and then you have slow months. So it’s better your approach.

I totally agree with you I haven’t bought any bags this year and I’m actually thinking about selling some.. I don’t know if I will completely stop buying “luxury brands” but my opinion has definitely changed. I’m not as obsessed with it anymore, I’d rather go on amazing vacations with my family etc. I would love to see more vlogs from you ☺️

I watch your channel for you. You are freaking awesome! Your sense of humor and personality are what make it an interactive experience. You don’t talk at the viewer, you talk with them. That’s rare. I’ll keep watching no matter what you want to talk about. Get deep or not, I support your mindset shift 💯 Keep killing it!

I feel you are moving into the direction of 'Lifestyle vlogging' rather then 'Luxury vlogging'. Lifestyle can still have the elements of luxury shopping, but to be honest as a viewer that can become mundane, so the elements of health, fitness, your dog, beauty products, travel, feelings, home updates makes for a much better viewing.

I knew you were talking about Josie too, the queen of heatless curls experiments 😅 I guess influencers get influenced too 😆 Like everything else, luxury means different things to everyone. Tbh it's "impossible" to justify spending 10 000$ on a purse, so logic has nothing to do with it 😊 Therefore imo, if it doesn't make you happy there's no point in it.

I feel like taking the time to take care of yourself is a luxury. Even something as simple as having a skincare routine feels luxurious~ I still love fashion and will buy name brand from time to time, but I always try to find value in what I own. Before I make any expensive purchase, I weigh design vs price to see if it's worth it to me PS. Disapate is the right word for your description of the desire evaporating

Hi Caitlin, Thanks again for a lovely and real video. I think of luxury as items that are good quality that last $$$ they probably do cost more 🙄. I also feel anything that makes me feel relaxed and pampered. I function better with some sort of luxury in my life. Not all luxury cost an arm and a leg. We can do a spa night with candles in our own home's,have a glass of Jesus's juice 🍷while watching the sunset, We should never feel ashamed of implementing a bit ( or alot) of luxury into our lives. We owe it to ourselves. 💗

As I’ve been with you for years I guess I’m growing up too. It is so nice to just enjoy the things in life and take care of ourselves as well as appreciate the luxury. Thanks for sharing I guess I’m on the same path as you.
