Why the numbering system?
@ScorchZaneTrains Жыл бұрын
@@Sudriantank12 so it’s no surprised my number system is that every engine has a 3 digit number If an engines first digit is 1 in their three digit number that means the engine is a pre grouped engine from one of the regrouped railways. For me, 87546 is a Dean single. He got into more arguments with Edward than anyone else, due to his hypocrisy (Come on, man, you’re older than he is), and was basically just tagging along with the big engines out of necessity for relevance. He was sent away in the late 20’s due to a crash with an empty passenger train, and his current whereabouts are unknown.

Your take on his personality is a bit similar to how I see him - while he was a bully like 98462, he was mostly reluctant in doing so, wanting to stay on 98462's good side by mostly copying what he did. However, his "arrogant" attitude mellowed out during his final days on the NWR. Interesting. My ideal 87546 is this: His name is Murry. He's a B17 #2842. He came to Sodor in the late 1920s with Alfred (B12 8572) and Crovan (a C11 4-4-2 with no number). While Crovan was a polite chap, Alfred and Murry of course were rude and vile. Crovan was later sent away with Alfred after he (instead of Gordon) rolled into a ditch to avoid pulling an express goods. Over time, he an Alfred started to change and soon felt regret over what they did on Sodor. During WWII, Murry sacrificed himself by pushing a train loaded with munitions when a German bombing raid flew in, and he got blown up. While it was sad, it did end on a note where he fully redeemed himself.

@ScorchZaneTrains Back in 1919, when Henry was born, two other engines were built a couple days before him, their numbers being 87546 and 87545. Henry was sold to the NWR in order to: 1. Get rid of him. and 2. Get more money to fix the other two engines' problems. 87546 and 87545 were pretty similar to Henry, the most noticible differences being their domes and front board, which resembled that of the Robbinson class B4's. The twins arrived at Sodor in 1920 to help with the mixed traffic work. 87546 was quite a short tempered engine, she hated shunting her own trains since it was "utterly tedious", often resulting on her derailing some trucks by accident and causing endless frustration for the yard managers (She also ripped the coupling off from that coach the day before Edward's Day Out). She also disliked pulling passengers, since they were "absolute naggers". Now 87545 (aka the green engine from Edward's Day Out) is quite the grumpy engine, but she has a soft spot for tank engines and smaller tender engines. However there's something she absolutely hates, the winter. She really dislikes ice and snow, especially since it makes the rails slippery, and it gets worse when it comes to Gordon's hill. The twins had arguments quite often since 87545 never approve 87546's behaviour towards the smaller engines and their half brother, Henry.
