Bro I played 4231 at beginning of this fc, slow and boring, ended up getting 12 wins on my first fut champs. But I didn't enjoy the way I played, it was so boring, I then switched to 41212 narrow, I played beautiful football, but can't get more than 9 wins, it's like ea reward boring football

And that's the thing, the addiction keeps us coming back, meanwhile the casuals are gone so every single game is a fucking green timed, mcgeady canceling, ai defending nightmare, and that's not the problem, the problem is they end up scoring after 17 rebounds, or a 5'5" woman winning a header agains aerial+ van dijk, it's just not fun anymore, casuals know it, you know it, I know it, but addiction keeps us going.

The single worst thing they have to fix are ai attacking runs. They just dont run. But then when you use player lock they suddenly make the easiest runs with full pace. L1 doesnt work consistently for me. You have to dribble and use directional inputs and use directional input to make a certain player run aswell. It just doesnt work and it feels horrible.

The problem is caused by ratty players and EA combined. Now they can't chase you down with center backs, so they drop even further down in their own box. At this point it's more of chess game then a football game. And don't get me started on the connection issues on PC. They are ignoring a 400+ pages topic on their forum filled with complaints about that...

The attacking AI is just god awful. All your players should have the Role++ to somewhat see runs from your AI. Still it isn't anywhere near close the runs we had back in FIFA 17. Wish they atleast make all the players run like normal humans. When there is space, the players should move there simple. In this game they stand behind the defenders every time. And ironically the defensive AI is stupidly OP. They know how to mark players and sitting their near your 16 making auto blocks. Yeah the worst is indeed the automatic offside traps. Makes it impossible to build-up...

Man, i've been playing football games since i was a little kid, from Winning Eleven to Pes and then Fifa, i've never been so frustrated as i am right now. This game is damn near unplayable, every single game is decided by who gets more bounces in their favor, people just control their CDMs and hold r1 so the AI can defend for them, keepers make crazy saves that would be impossible in real life, everything is just wrong, but i just keep coming back to this game because i love football and football games, it's such a bad situation to be in. I wouldn't say i'm addicted cause i don't play that many games a day and don't spend any money, but i get so mad everytime i play it and i still come back the next day. EA is the worst fucking company of all time.

i used to get 14 wins every weekend league back in fifa 22 and 23. Am 2-7 rn in champs and can't keep going. My team has fallen out of the power curve and I cannot get a break now. Call me trash but the fact that the power curve matters so much in this game is terrible. Don't even get me started on the gameplay and server lag.

The power curve doesnt matter. The thing that matters the most is skill and then stuff like connection etc. I have been getting 8 wins every single time with one 9 wins and one 10 wins. My striker is evod 87 Richarlison,my right CM is gold KDB and left back Robertson sbc and right back is evod 87 TAA. Guess how many wins i would get in the next WL with exactly the same team as every WL thus far. Unless you think gold kdb isnt behind the power curve or that my fullbacks are full meta or my striker or gold Salah as RW.

Last year I played weekend league 5 times, I hit 14-6 3 times, 17-3 once and 18-2 once, was elite all year, I'm finally in div 1 but it took me up until last week, it's so random, this morning you win all your 6 games in a row no sweat, you take a break and lose everything you play woth double figures the same night etc etc

Switching tactics all the time doesn't do you any good. Create 2 different ones that reflect your playing style and get used to them even if it means that you can't use certain players. In one way or another you have to limit yourself on this game which is a shame but for me it has been not using the best players I have available but the ones that make the most sense for what I want to do. For example i have to be able to switch between 433(2) and 41212 narrow to play at my best and that means I need one winger that can play striker and one that can play cam. One of the two tactics always works unless my opponent is much better than me. Find a way to not care so much so you don't feel so miserable all the time while playing. With how this game works, being "good" at it doesn't mean anything other than being more shameless than your opponent.

It's literally automatic when you have it on 70+ depth as well. And indeed offside traps shouldn't be spammed like this. It's crazy how you can't find space and move because there are 2-3 players surrounding you, while nobody of your own team is moving. So you get frustrated because you lose the ball like this. EA should patch the offside trap to the ground...

I've played with 70+ depth and my players don't do it automatically, it's just that the opposing team run offside too fast for the player to react 80% of the time.

Dude you piss me off when you say the Ai is crazy ….. there is no Ai you really expect EA to develop advanced Ai ? They just lock your attackers next to defenders cancel the touch of your attacks when the defender goes to the ball and lock passes to your opponent, that’s why there is no fouls for stupid tackles from behind , watch replays , the dribbler will have a fake touch or cancelled or just goes through the ball before the defender tackle lock on to the ball 😂 that’s not Ai it’s just stupid , attackers don’t run into space they stay next to defenders to make the defensive line to seem strong even tho we can clearly see that the attackers are running with defenders in a way that makes them unable to do anything , keepers react to input rather than to animations same with interceptions the animation of interception / save starts before the animations of the attackers , when you are running with a player with the ball and you make a slight turn he sticks to the ground but the defender following you can go into all directions springing tackles and yet keep his momentum or even increase it , So no there no Ai 😂 it’s just a scam , lazy stupid programming

FC25 is the worst edition I've experienced in the FIFA series. I played WL only 3 times and never again. Next weekend, a patch for UFL will be released, which will fix heading, crossing, and AI. Now we just need it to come to PC. FC25 is the least fun edition I've played over the years. The gameplay is terrible.
