This seems based on the story where the Op, 37 years old, was married for TEN YEARS without getting pregnant. Husband one day said he was seeing a younger co-worker who had gotten pregnant. Co-worker's baby is born and husband's family is all excited, and Op realized that she was basically the other woman when the family was taking a photo at a family dinner and they asked Op to take it and the co-worker was there next to husband, baby and inlaws and Op was the outsider. After the divorce, which shattered Op, ex and co-worker get married. Op goes on with life and had a one night stand with a new co-worker after the office Christmas party and of course finds out she is pregnant. Stunned, she told him she thought she was infertile, but he said no matter what, even if they don't have a relationship, he wants to be a father to the baby. Of course, as happens on reddit, they get along quite well, and her ex's sister sees a photo of a very pregnant Op with her new fiance on social media. SIL calls Op, angry that she is pregnant and why didn't she let her know, and while talking a light goes off in her head and she right away makes her brother get a DNA test. Ex is the infertile one and the baby, a year old by now, isn't his. He actually has the nerve to tell Op to leave her fiance and remarry HIM and they will take care of Op's baby together. Since Op is sane, she of course dismisses that idea and blocks him and she goes off happily ever after into the sunset with the new fiance and baby, who of course is beautiful. It was a much better story with no repetitions and no excessive wordiness and seemed a lot more believable than this story.

I'm going to be perfectly honest it's kind of hard to have sympathy for the poster because she saw all the red flags with this dude and she still proceeded to get married to merrier ex-husband try to get pregnant by him and even though she saw all the red flags and got mistreated for so long I don't understand how being called a broken woman is your final straw to be like yeah I'm getting the fuck out of this marriage and getting with somebody else maybe that's just me but she can't say she was cool hers or manipulated or her self-esteem is one of the things her exes used against her because maybe then if that was mentioned I could perfectly understand it
