The final size will be 40 playable characters with 10 DLC, which includes the pre-order bonus. This would be the largest roster of any NRS game, as the base of 30 would still be the biggest compared to other launch titles. For me, this would be the "endgame" for the Injustice series, so I figured go big or go home within reason. the returning from the previous games 1. Batman 2. Superman(bizzarro) 3. Wonder Woman(donna troy) 4. Flash(Godspeed, reverse flash, jay) 5. Green lantern(Jessica Cruz or simon baz all the other lanterns are dead but we carry over john Stewart for legacy reason) 6. Aquaman(ocean master) 7. Cyborg 8. Harley Quinn 9. Supergirl 10. Green arrow(speedy) 11. Black Canary 12. Blue beetle (green/black beetle from young justice as skins) 13. Firestorm 14. Starfire(black fire) 15. red hood 16. Catwoman 17. batgirl(Cassandra Cain as a premiere skin and Stephine brown/spoiler as well. they all had the mental of batgirl as some point) 18. Zatanna 19. nightwing(with deadman ghost powers or just be visual and make Damian his premiere skin) 20. Enchantress So some of this is biased, but also, I feel their moves were interesting to carry over, or it makes sense. Bane and Black Adam i cut because I wanted to give other characters a chance. Also, one of them was in a big bomb, so I don't think DC wants to use Adam any time use. 21. Bloodsport 22. Vixen(with her own proper move set this time) 23. Killer croc(bane replacement with king shark as a skin) 24. captain boomerang 25. Doctor light(kimiyo Hoshi) 26. tora olafsdotter(Ice) 27. beatriz da costa dc(fire) 28. Booster Gold 29. circe 30.Larfleeze 31. Anti-monitor(pre-order bonus) so in case you can't tell my plot is a crisis event. And don't worry about the lack of "villains" in the roster as an easy in-story justification would be alternate versions of these characters work for Anti-monitor. and so most the roster is returning and the rest are new faces. The DLC would be in 3 packs 1 returning, 1 new, and our 1 guest character(because NRS loves guests). pack 1 32. lex Luthor 33. Beast Boy 34. mark Greyson/invincible pack 2 35.Joker(MK11 showed RNS isn't above to sell the same character as DLC) 36. plastic man 37. He-man pack 3 38. raven 39.static shock 40. That is good if they can all play a part in the story mode, but I had little to no hopes when it comes to characters with similar themes, because they could consider their movesets too be repetitive. Though if they insisted with supergirl, who has the same abilities as Superman, we could at least get a skin for Superboy (who I love!).
