Liked immediately once you got to talking about the augments. I have played Mortal Kombat 11 from the beginning to end and I have never ONCE, ONCE, touched augments. I have played the entire game and farmed it to all shit without them. Not once did I ever feel the need to use them, they felt like not only did they take away the skill of the game, but they also just felt overall useless to me. I really hope we don’t get anymore useless crap like that in the next NRS title.

My bet for Injustice 3 is the Blackest Night Saga. Imagine, we follow the idea of Black Lanterns (like Revenants in MK, with alternate skins of regular character). Then, the additional thing here is that, similar to the comics event, new ring wielders will appear too. For example, Flash could have a Blue Lantern skin, Wonder Woman a Star Saphire skin, etc. On top of that, knowing that custom special moves are possible o variations like in MK, every character can have Lantern custom moves or variations. Even would be cool some characters have more than one lantern skin. Necron as final boss. Black Hand, Larfreeze, Saint Walker get in. I would love to see that.

Variations were NOT very well thought out 💀 like every game the OP characters had more choices and the low tiers just had 3 versions of the same dogshit playstyle. NRS not really having archetyps really shone through in MKX because the game is so fun and for the most part it was because of the system and not characters.

Also injustice one’s characters all had unique design and love it or hate it it was recognisable, superman’s cape connected to his symbol, harly Quinn and Aquaman green arrow and wonder woman all looked so unique to injustice, and in 2 most of them look generic ( I like superman’s weird crown, it looks like a Roman emperors laurels), blue beetle, black canary, swamp thing brainiac and almost every other character look exactly like they do in the comics of the time, and I would like to see some more out there designs in the next one

I need to correct something real quick. They did not reckon Dick Grayson‘s death. This is a different time when they’re stopping inmates. And all of this is proven by StarFire’s intro lines when it comes to Robin. She holds a great deal of animosity towards Damien because of Dick’s death.

Evil ending all the way, the hero’s have to go underground to try and bring down superman and a brain washed batman, just don’t do a universe reset so soon like mk11 also injustice 2s new characters all had the same morality as they usually do ( blue beetle good, gorilla grodd bad) I like the flashes redemption but it’s undercut by green lantern doing the same thing, even bane changes from the regime to the villains, hell red hood should be on superman’s side but because he’s popular they don’t want to make him a villain The most fun part of injustice was seeing how each character reacts in this situation, Wonder Woman becomes a psycho, Harley Quinn latches on to batman, green arrow dies ( also send him back to his earth just have him be dead) Deathstroke is with the resistance, I feel like injustice 2 doesn’t provide any interesting switchups, like what if atroitus sides with batman and they have to try and reign in this lunatic

1: I actually agree I like the concept of using all the characters from both with new characters and new guest characters 2: if the teenage mutant ninja turtles do come back do you think they'll use a 5th turtle? Injustice 3 needs better and more interesting customization. I think they should really implement the level of customization in Mk11 into IJ3. I also do hope we get some more characters. I do want Blue Beetle to remain a character and I really hope we never see MK characters in Injustice again. It’s annoying.

Injustice gods among us litterly a godlike story I loved it and than injustice 2 happens.... I hope in injustice 3 will have the crime syndicate of america comming to destroy the injustice's earth after superman has taken over with brainiac tech and mindwashed alot of good heros. And will see supergirl trying to bring a new Justice legue together while trying to safe batman and friends from superman. I would like to see wonder woman be good again to (because she fk sucks in injustice) and I Harley is evil again or at least she joins the bad guys together with Ivy.

white canary would just not work as a seperate character, her move set would be too similar to nightwing’s move set and even if he doesn’t return in ij3, they’re def gonna give his staff moves and everything to robin or red robin depending on which returns if nightwing doesn’t return. the premier skins like vixen, mr. freeze, bizarro, etc… in ij2 felt like seperate characters yet they shared a move set with other characters which isn’t really a problem. just still wondering why raven wasn’t a skin for enchantress…

Imo I disagree with your take on the variation system I like it it makes more fast thinking and makes you adapt to the match and makes it fun because you might not see the move a lot so it makes the match a lot better and gives a lot of different play styles for all characters.

I definitely agree with that notion in MKX, but in Inj2/MK11, variations having their own currency in form of skill points as to how you spend them on your load out was incredibly restrictive in my view.
