Just me expressing contentment with my improved "interoception," or "sense of the internal state of the body." Anxiety and dissociation had always been a barrier to my self-monitoring, and isolation has made it worse--but it's recently improved, especially with the help of medication (finally). Autistic people commonly struggle with interoception / self-monitoring... like not knowing when they are hungry, or not comprehending how emotions and bodily sensations connect.
Listening to audio only, or can't read the text on the screen? Here's a description of the few subtitles, plus additional notes:
1. I misspelled Interoception at the top of the screen--I'm still new to the word and not an expert.
2. At 3:08 I meant to say "it's not like introspection"
3. Interoception also involves your emotions, and how emotions manifest in the body. Your physical needs and mental state (including emotions) can bounce off each other, for instance, being "hangry"... angry from being hungry.
