Love it!! That's how I earned 6 figures in 2021 passively purely from index funds. Invest consistently in to great ETFs with low fees and stop buying the hype surrounding individual stocks. Long term if you want to build real wealth, it is boring but it works. Good luck!

Forgot to get back to you on a previous video - Sorry it took this long to get back to you. I think what does it for me is the dim lighting and the general calm demeanour that you give off when speaking. You're not shouting at us to buy or sell something so that helps. Your videos also are very informative but concise which is something I personally appreciate. Even your longer videos do not feel like they're needlessly long. Hope this helps

£220 a month with only 6k subs is a lot more than I thought you'd get. But I had no idea it takes 12 hours to film one video and the costs half your profit. Still if the channel takes off, then it's passive income forever and all of that effort will pay off. Keep going.

First time viewer it’s nice to see the total transparency and the fact your English with £’s. I’m 2/3rd Stocks and 1/3 Crypto. I don’t believe individual stocks are silly if you do the research if much rather own a company like Tesla or Coinbase compared to the S&P500 that is propped up by 10 Tech blue chip companies

Great video! Interesting that you're not choosing to but anything into Crypto, I was expecting you to be putting at least a little into the top ten say... Can I ask why you chose Crypto over say Binance?
@nickjm41082 жыл бұрын
Hey Sol - When it comes to investing, I want everything to be straight forward and simple. I personally found binance as interface horrible and confusing (similar to how I feel about etoro). I also loved the Crypto dot coms eco system (Visa cards etc)

Hey Alett - I funnily did a podcast on this which went live on Monday (over on a KZbin channel called making money simple) if you want to listen to the detail but in summary, mainly because it’s cheaper

@@nickjm4108 I’ll definitely check it out thanks a lot. After lots of research I also opted for a single fund portfolio, however I also see people with 3-4 funds and a rate of return of 40+ percent! The silly thing IMO is that the funds overlap potentially doubling the risk. E.g holding vwrl, vusa, and life strategy 100. Would you agree with my assessment? Thanks again for your time

@@alett88 How can you send an example of this 40%+ return portfolios?

@@nickjm4108 i also follow all the honeys ( which you also mention) and in her December portfolio update she speaks about her 180k portfolio you can see she has 47% return with 4 funds. Vwrl, vusa, life strategy and vfem I believe. Maybe I am reading things wrong or misinterpreting the numbers , just wanted to hear your opinion . Thanks 🙏🏽

@@alett88 Just watch out with these numbers and what they mean. My portfolio is show as 62.61% return but this number is based on IRR which weights the impact of money based on how long its been in the fund for. It doesn't mean all my money has grown by 62%. Same Marta at ATH's

Great video Nick! Everyone thought post-covid times would be a bad time to invest, yet we've seen incredible growth the last year. Best advice is to just get started with whatever you can! Also great to see you earnt 800 odd quid with Roamler, nice little earner that can be funnelled into investments!

All great info, but 0.43% is not that cheap for a collection of ETFs ;) All-world ETFs can easily be found for 3-4 times cheaper. And that's quite a bit in say 30-40 year span. Soz for the unsolicited 2c :)

im looking to save to 100k in 4years what would you guys say the best way about going about doing this bearing in mind i want to invest £500 a month but i feel having money in the bank is not worth it anything would help!
@nickjm41082 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael - a responsible return from the market would be around 7.5% but 4 years is too shorter time frame to have any level of confidence in that but just to help flesh out a plan, use 7.5%. Based on starting at £0 and investing £500, after 4 years you’ll only have £27,877. To get to £100,000, you’ll need to invest circa £1,800 a month to even give yourself a shot and even then, the market could stay flat or worse, decline.
