@MeechSan you can pay into as many as you like however can’t go over £20,000 limit for tax year.

@@user-yi5xb2py7k not true. You can pay into one of each type of ISA each year, up to a maximum of 20k. You can't pay into 6 S&S ISAs in one year for example but you could create a new S&S ISA each year for 6 years and only pay into that isa on the year you created it. That would be a stupid thing to do of course as it would overcomplicate everything.

@@user-yi5xb2py7k with ISA do u get a tax free up to £20,000. Anything after you pay taxes right ?
@user-yi5xb2py7k3 жыл бұрын
@@abdiali6648 no so you can deposit £20K however anything you make you don’t have to pay taxes on. For example you have a stock & shares ISA & you deposited £20K and your investment returns £5K. All £25K is tax free

I think JOSEPH BRENNAN is correct. You can put up to 20K IN TOTAL per year into ISAs (don't forget the LIFETIME ISA for under 40's, 4K max there, and that 4K counts towards one's 20K max). And each year one can choose what-ever provider one wishes for that year's ISA. Even different providers for a CASH ISA element, a STOCKS AND SHARES ISA element, and a LIFETIME ISA element if you so desire (up to the 20K max). But as Joseph says - that starts to make the administration a bit tiresome. David.
