My iPad’s Home Button collapsed into the screen and no longer functions and as a consequence I initiated the on-screen Assisted Touch Button as you described and it works well. However, I have been unable to initiate a ‘Hard Reset’ by depressing the Top Button and the on-screen ‘Assisted Touch’ icon as that combination doesn’t seem to work. So, is there a way to do a Hard Reset if the iPad’ Home Button no longer functions?

Your informative video saved me a trip to the Apple Store and money I would have to spend to resolve my issue - my IPAD Air 4 was locked in the ‘on’ position with no access to the settings feature. Hitting the restart button on the assistive touch feature wouldn’t work. Had to erase my IPad. Luckily, I always back up my device to my computer.

Great video. I have the iPad Mini 6 with the newest 17.3.1 version. Now holding the power button and one of the volume buttons does not bring up the power off slider. The only thing that works now is press and release the up volume, then the down volume and then hold the power button. Is there something wrong with my iPad so that the power button and one of the volume buttons does not power off the iPad or is that because the newer versions of the iOS software have changed the power off procedure?

It might be that you need to log into the WiFi network itself like you usually have to do when you use WiFi at a public library or Starbucks, Panera Bread etc.

It’s good to shutdown and restart your device once a week. Do it with iPad and iPhone regularly.

My old lady dropped my iPad Pro and I can fix it but parts horrendously, insanely expensive. And it's no longer a rumor iPad now accepts and support Windows.. My iPad is now used as a prop to my House Window to keep it open and let the air in during Summer Months. Thanks Apple!

Sorry guys I haven't even watched this video (but I liked the video anyway) cuz I don't have an iPad. And I'm not intending on having one. I use only my iPhone 7 for everything- including NETFLIX. Why I did I came here then?... Well I was hoping you can help me with something else. Do you guys know how can I set up my phone (iPhone 7) so that I don't need to adjust the video quality for you tube EVERY TIME I watch the new video. It's always on the lowest setting, and I need to go into settings on the video (on you tube) EVERY TIME to set it up for the highest one (720 or 1080 or whichever it has). And actually the same goes for Spotify, when I watch JRE podcasts. But there is even worse- Spotify doesn't give me that option. So I watch all Joe Rogan podcasts on the lowest video quality 😒😒😒 Thank you in advance. Found out about your channel today. Subscribing now 😎👍
