I studied, lived and worked abroad for many years and I have lost count of the number of interviews I have been shot down on. I remember my coach once telling me, when I once told him I didn't get hired for a job - "piss on it, why didn't that happen, it was all for good". So if this didn't happen, piss on it. Something better will. The world is very big. Just to add to what I said; the companies will always always look to hire or improve people within. The cost of acquisition is much lower this way. If you can learn something new and add value, they will not try outside. I don't know what the hell the so called 'professor' was blabbering about but good thing he did not enter industry, he chose to be in academia . Thus I forgive him for being not in touch with reality.

Yeah, I have moved on from that interview. It has been 3 Years now! Ironically I did end up studying at ISI but different course, which paid me to study...hahaa...stipend & no fees!

Why you appeared for pgdba, when you have studied msqe. Jobs for msqe grads are also data scientist na?

This was back in 2018, when I wanted to learn about data, and PGDBA was my first preference. But, thanks to MSQE I learnt about data through economics @ ISI. MSQE is a lot more than data science but PGDBA is only for Data Science. Plus, PGDBA has coursework in three institutes-ISI,IIT & IIM

What is the difference between ISI MSQE And PGDBA in job perspective after placement ?

MSQE is a lot more than data science but PGDBA is only for Data Science. Plus, PGDBA has coursework in three institutes-ISI,IIT & IIM. So, MSQE jobs has a lot more variety than PGDBA but probability of a higher package is greater in PGDBA. But competition in PGDBA is also a lot higher.

Lol if big industries don't hire technicians from colleges then why do these clowns keep drumming about placements and publish report after report of how much their students are paid. Why did they start the programme in the first place? Hell, I find it amusing that they want to put you thru a gruelling interview and explain why you want to pay them 25 lakhs in tutions. There is difference between asking you for a genuine ' why do you want to join' vs bullshit .From your video it seems like they are interested in bringing up objections which make no sense. They are trying to be more critical than they need to be.
