Explaining our education system in Japanese was super hard, and I don't think I could have done it half as fluently as you did. Great job!

Haha, thank you! Yea I was stunned for a moment when I saw our education pathways. Not sure if I can even do a good job explaining it in English 😅

What a good lesson! And congratulations on getting married! The more free talk conversations like this you have the better you get at making your core vocabulary (another way of saying limited vocabulary 😂 work for you). At least that's my experience. I'm pretty good at making my limited vocabulary work quite well I think but on the other hand it makes it harder I think for teachers to correct me or just suggest a better word because I'm talking so fast. There's a lot of good vocabulary words in this lesson I'd like to save for studying later. I don't know if you have an iPhone but a great dictionary app called Midori is on iOS and it it includes pitch accent for a lot of words. It's interesting (and frustrating?) how 新婚旅行 and 旅行 have such different pitch patterns.

The fact that pitch accent can change so much makes it feel like there's no way we'll ever master it!

@@GermaineJapanese I’m never going to lol. I never expected to though. It really helps that my go to dictionary actually shows pitch accent now though. Before it didn’t. No way was I ever going to learn any pitch accent then.

Hi rooj999, thanks for always watching the videos. I would love to add more subtitles and vocabulary meanings but the ones in this videos already took me many hours to make. I don’t think I have the time to add meanings for every word. Maybe one day when I have the money to hire video editors to help me with it!
