Half of the reaction you were sitting with your mouth open. 😆My jaw also dropped and hit the table when I started watching this video for the first time. 😂 I knew that I would watch the video of a 17 year old schoolgirl and for me it was a complete surprise to her level of bass guitar skills.😳 This video was taken 3 years ago. Fami was then 17 YEARS OLD and she was still in school ! Japan is a country of talents and great capacity for work. Therefore, there are so many world-class musicians in Japan, including among young people. But, unfortunately, most people in America and Europe do not know this.I'm not Japanese, but I really want Japanese bands to conquer the world, as British bands conquered the world in the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

I’ve watched this well into double digits now on other channels and on Fami’s own, and given that I wouldn’t normally give something like that a second listen, the bass playing is half the song, which I doubt it was even genuine on the original. And I have to say that not only is it catchy as hell, but the vocals work… don’t ask me how but they just do. Lovebites could stick this on an album and I’d play it as much as the other stuff. Super stoked for Judgement Day, even more stoked for album and have entered the fan club lottery for a ticket in Tokyo, March 10th. I don’t hold out much hope, but I won’t give up trying to exhaust every possible avenue. Then all I have to do is book my flight. From the U.K.! 🙂🐺🤟🏻

24th in Japan they will release the 1st song from Judgement Day video for all a Christmas present 2 days early for us in the USA

Fami is great in the slapping and tapping parts, but what really gets me is her use of harmonics. She sneaks in a quick one early in the tapping, but when she hits that series of harmonics and lets them ring out, that goes right to my heart. It would have been cool if this was a truly live video, but it's Fami miming to her own playback as she, by her own admission, often does on her channel. It's still a cool video since I know she can really do all that.

It's crazy, she was considering giving up playing bass, at least on a serious basis. She actually has far more YT views than Lovebites. This looks like a huge win-win for both her and the band.

Gotta give this girl credit, she can shred. Then again, Japanese musicians are known for being top notch. I think Les Claypool and Geddy Lee better look out, they might have themselves a rival with this one.
