My 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Modifications have made all the difference in the world in transforming a nearly 16 year old jeep into what we affectionally now call "Dutch"
The jeep had quite a few issues when I purchased it from a small dealer in KC and for the price, some of that was to be expected. I had some transmission work that needed to be, along with a few services to the four wheel drive Quad Trac 2 system.
After sorting the mechanical issues with Dutch, I moved on to more of the cosmetic and "use case" type stuff that I love so much. From the headlights, to the sliding rear table, and the rod vault style fly fishing rod holder on the roof, I've really made this jeep mine.

I have an '04. Only 119k miles. The first two things you did to yours is what I did to mine. All the hood and gate struts and new headlights/taillights by Spyder. They had the LEDs and thanks to KZbin I wired them myself. It really updated the car. I like the WKs too.

JasnoGtT yeah new headlights with the LED’s make a huge difference in the appearance of the car. I’d like to get a 1-1.5 inch lift done so I can upgrade the suspension wheels and tires. Sadly, this jeep was in an accident out in Colorado on our last RV trip and was considered a total loss. We purchased an ‘06 WK1 with the 5.7 liter hemi V8 which has been a blast to drive. We did a lot of the same upgrades to this one, plus new spark plugs and EGR valve and sensor. I’m hoping to do the lift, wheels and tires on this one. Thanks for watching the video, I’ll be doing a lot of adventure content coming up in the next few months including in the jeep, so don’t forget to subscribe if you haven’t already. Would be fun to have some jeep folks following the channel. Best,

I have an '07 limited the same color with almost 200k on it now! Bought it several years ago and the first thing I replaced were the headlights and back tailgate springs as well. Awesome to see how you've set yours up!

Thanks Asha, sadly this one is already gone, my wife was in an accident two summers ago that totaled the car. She walked away unharmed, so we bought an 06 Limited with a hemi, we’ve loved it since.

Handi I totally get where you are coming from. Getting good quality audio is super difficult to do. I've been using a platform called Boomcaster lately that I'm really enjoying. Check it out.

What are the dimensions for the bins you have on the bottom?
@OutdoorsPodcast
@OutdoorsPodcast 2 жыл бұрын
Shalynn sadly I’ve made some modifications that no longer allow to have the bins underneath and they’ve gone by the wayside, so i can’t tell you. I’m pretty sure they were about 18” wide and about 24” long or so. I know my previous design, featured in this video had an internal dimension of around 40”
