as a tourist from Australia.. mate i’d say philippines is one of my enjoyable thing i experienced.. the thing is almost everything(except good internet connection) you need and to look for in a vacation is there! i mean if you do like beaches from north to south they have one!.. if you want to cool yourself go up north! i’ve come one time at sagada.. the long trip is worth it! if you want to shop then they offer you the biggest malls wherein you can find all you need.., oh the booz are cheap as hell compared here.. and the food is so underrated! the food is so diverse that i’m sure every pallet around the world will surely love.. the only thing i think that the philippines needs to improve is their transport system.. because with all these beautiful places everywhere, it’s accessability kind of hard for some tourist even for local ones i heard.. but yeah philippines is definitely a tourist haven..

Don't worry today our Philippine govt poured billions of dollars to build a lot of new modern infrastructures like new international airport, over pass, bridges new roads, new MRT LRT , elevated roads, expanding MRT LRT and even Fastest subway train Philippines is improving a lot.

Philippines is not all about the islands down south, it also is the mountains, plains, valleys, rivers, and fields up north. The Ilocos region is my recommendation for you, we are rich in culture and history, and full of long beaches, lush green hills, and small port towns. Beautiful sunsets there too.

Edges of Earth, I checked some website about the visa fee. This is what I found: Philippines Visa Nationals of over 150 countries do not need a visa to visit the Philippines. On arrival they receive a free Visa Waiver. Tourists can now stay 30 days for free with this Visa Waiver. It is given to them at the immigration desk in ports and airports. The extension of the Visa Waiver for another 29 days costs PHP 3,130.00. So you basically pay $60 (P3,130) to extend your visa. $600 is a wrong conversion.

A Tao-type ecotourism system in the Northern Philippines would be awesome and would immensely help the communities while also preserving their cultures. Hope it gets off the ground. If Eddie is looking for more places, I'd suggest a look at the the Lumad cultures in central Mindanao. It's very similar to Ifugao culture, but is underrepresented in the tourism industry because it's lumped along with the rest of Mindanao as being "dangerous". It doesn't have the rice terraces, but makes up for it by having intricate traditional arts and music.

I feel humbled and feel crying just watching how beautiful and peaceful this rice terraces scenery. I feel even just watching it, I get to feel closer to the wonder of this mountain. When Gareth said he feels just relax and at peace when he woke up, I am feeling it too just by watching the beauty of this mountain he is showing. Thanks Gareth for sharing this video.

I am constantly amazed by the beauty of the Mountain Provinces and the rice terraces! This year alone, I did 2 trips up north to 2 different clusters of rice Terraces. And both times, I didn't see Thanos! 🤣 This is the 1st time I've heard of that one in Bauko. It is true how serene and peaceful one feels in the mountains. It is perfectly fine to disconnect once in awhile and the Mountain Province is the perfect place to unwind and recharge - nice climate, crisp clean air, laid back vibe and a lot of smiling and friendly people! That bumpy jeepney ride would have been the perfect opportunity to test the GoPro7's hyper smooth feature. 😉 I have always been interested to try Tao Philippines' tours. I have always thought it was managed by foreigners. Gosh! I miss the mountains and the weather! Loved this vlog, Gareth! Well done! 👍🇵🇭😊 P. S. @garethleonard, you stood out from amongst the teens, both for your dancing and height. 🤣

But her mom and dad were from Pamaga in this area This is the Philippines I want to see sooo nice there reminds me of some places here in Canada But with a Asian tropical twist. It's sad to think that we build Towers and cities in the want of money and power But crave the open wilderness and its beauty

I've seen many travel vlogs. Yours by far has been one of the best, if not the best. You highlight not only the tourist traps bu you also showcase remote areas and the locals' way of life. You're also very respectful of the culture, even if you did not really like some of the food, you were still respectful and appreciative.

It's very brave of you to travel in other parts of a non touristy but nonetheless beautiful parts of the Philippines, i encourage you to get off the beaten parts even more because those heavily touristed area like coron, el nido, boracay, siargao, cebu are now overly represented in many travel vlogs, im absolutely sure your audience will love to see those less visited but beautiful parts. I can suggest some like the Biliran rock formation, Batanes, the golden sands of Jomalig island, Camiguin island or Romblon.

My hometown is just 10 -15 min.drive from Sagada. You should have gone to Sagada and tour the cave! Thanks again for promoting our beautiful Mountain Province. You remind me of my late Scottish husband who truely loved to retire there one day!
