Telling people to collect the watches that fit them, regardless of what other people have to say, is such an important message. There are too many watch snobs out there, telling you what to buy. I collect Tag Heuers, not the most loved brand in the world, but they fit me, because i am a motorsports enthusiast, like Jack Heuer.

That's the only way I know how to collect. If you're collecting to please others, then you'll never enjoy this hobby to its fullest and you'll always be chasing the next best thing. But if you buy what you love, then in the end, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. I feel extremely blessed and am lucky to have these watches in my collection ❤️ - Jason

@@TheWatchBros great attitude mate! ... i have also had a lot of pressure from my work colleagues to get a rolex (and also my wife) but recently bought my dad a moonswatch pluto (his request for fathers day) and at the same time picked up the White snoopy moonswatch. and let me tell you .. the itch is gone.. permanently? hell no.. but I couldn't be happier... and given the number of watches I have.. decided the following routine to spice things up and almost have a new watch feel everyday: - Master Collection Monday (Longines triple date moonphase) - Tag Tuesday - Wednesdays are usually difficult as its a crisis.... .so... quartz - Tissot Thursday - Flighty Friday weekends are a free for all.... :)

Lange is owned by Richmont…. One of the largest conglomerates and not independent.

@@TheWatchBros No big deal. Love the content and a lot of people don't understant... at 60K watches a year and a dominant brand, Patek is independent as well as Rolex, which is about 1/3 of the entire swiss watch industry is "independent"!

@@MrParadigm1981for sure. The Rolex thing is tricky because they’re owned by a foundation and that foundation owns various sundries besides even one watch brand… remember there’s Tudor. They also own land which is more profitable than their watch division. I’m not saying they aren’t. All I’m saying, is Rolex being independent is muddy at best.
