This is my church, since I don’t have a home church where I live. I started watching these sermons on KZbin a few weeks ago. Now I have gotten to the point where every Saturday I will binge watch sermons and God content all day. Now I realize this is the first time I have actually opened up my bible and read along with you. God has done amazing work on me within the last couple years. Yet I have grown so much closer to God since I have been on my own these last couple months. I kinda have no choice but to cling to God, since he doesn’t want me working a normal “9-5 job” and I have no idea how I’ve been able to pay my bills every month, if it wasn’t for God.

I thank God for you Steven Furtick! About a year ago I started having a bout of depression that was so deep & dark that I couldn't sense God's presence at all, and I felt so vulnerable & like prey for the devil. The only thing I could tolerate during this time was Elevation Worship songs, scripture readings, & Steven Furtick sermons. For several months the depression didn't lift but God was working in ways only He can do - I was being made whole! EVERY sermon that you, pastor Furtick, preached every Sunday during those months and beyond was exactly what my soul needed, TGBTG 🙌🏾✨! Exactly one year later, I am completely healed from depression! But guess what else, I've had one unfortunate situation after another that has brought me to where I lost my place and I've been staying with my son and his family. Long story short, this sermon was so relevant to me for today and truly a blessing! God is still using you, pastor Steven Furtick, to speak to my soul. Now, I want to let you know that I pray for you often & I continue to pray for you, and I praise God for what He is doing for you personally 👏🏽♥️! I also pray & praise for your family! You are a real person to me - not just a media personality - you are my brother! God bless you Steven Furtick!!

Watching this on Good Friday. Just had a chat with my dad telling him I realize what I have in my life I have been praying for the whole time, but I still feel hollow because I'm not taking care of myself. My mental health and my purpose to serve has been on my mind. I'm not taking real responsibility for my joy. And my joy is my job. And I circled back to this because this sermon was still on my mind. First Good Friday since I recently got married, and I miss my family and our rituals during this time of year. I felt seen and anointed watching this. I didn't feel alone. Thank you, Elevation.

My sermon notes for "My joy is my job" 1.) The size of the attack over your life is relevant to the assignment over your life. If God is fighting for you, that doesn't mean there won't be an attack. The presence of the attack is not the absence of God 2.) Don't let the pressure make you postpone your joy, there is no testimony without a test. You have to have joy no matter what you are going through. Freedom is a mindset 3.) God is with you, it's a process 4.) Make sure you have the right partner to process. God picks people according to his purpose
